So I have been using my evic vt in temp ni with the nickel coil vaping around 500 degrees with a 50/50 juice. Today I switched to a max vg juice with the same coil as it was barely used, the flavor swap Is fine

But it seems like it's not getting as hot even on 600 degrees at 600 it makes lots of vapor but isn't warm enough

Should I use a fresh coil and see if this helps? If so should I use the ni or ti coil?

Any ideas and always thanks in advance

Lack of heat could be due to the coil being dirty. Might be worth a swap to see if that sorts your issues. Choosing between Ni and Ti is up to you, but I personally recommend Ni (I'm not a fan of Ti as a vaping wire at all).

Interestingly, VG has a higher flash/burning point than PG, so (logically) the vapor should be hotter. Anecdotal, but I've always felt that the opposite is true (max VG yields cooler vapor).

Thanks I will try a new coil even tho I only used 15ml of clear 0nic juice in the first one

I'm thinking that when you took the warm tank off, refilled it and reinstalled it that your mod decided it was a new tank and your resistance got locked in much higher than what it ought to be. I'd make sure both are at room temp and try again to lock your resistance. (check the value of the coil, your mod should be reporting a locked resistance fairly close to that value).
