I'm using titanium right now in my Aqua V2 on a D2. Have had this tank a couple weeks and this is my second build. The first build was 316L (wattage mode) and both were non-fiddly. The airflow is good but is restricted compared to a sub-ohm clearo though you can do a lung enhale. Flavor is great.

There are a couple helpful Aqua threads here on ECF.
I've been using an erkonigin and Zephyrus, but honestly I get better results out if my subtank mini

@Freedom2Vape You've been so helpful thus far. I read everything on the Merkava that you posted in the 1 thread and am really happy to see that it is a mild lung inhale even at it's smallest setting, as you stated. In all the pictures, I believe I only saw that there was only one side of AFC and it doesn't have dual AFC. Is that true? In your experience, how would you compare the Merkava's flavor to the Tilemahos v2, and even to the ataman v2 you have? I see so many great reviews for the tilemahos v2, but the chamber really doesn't look reduced at all on it compared to so many others I'm checking out.

Yes - it is true that the Merkava only has AFC on one side - at its largest setting the Merkava AFC is too airy for me, but not as airy as something like the Kanger subtank mini. I use the Merkava on its second to smallest setting because I think the flavor and AF is perfect for my style of vaping (restricted DL). I'm not sure how to compare the flavors between the Merkava, Tilemahos, and Ataman...some of the flavors I vape are better in one tank than the others. The Tilemahos II has dual AFC and can be very airy at its widest opening. The AFC is mirrored on each side. The Ataman II has only 3 settings (I generally use the middle setting) and is fairly restrictive at the largest setting, in my opinion. In return for that, you get a very flavorful vape.
Coil builds for both of these (Tilemahos and Ataman) seem to favor 2.5mm or smaller diameter coils. With the Merkava, I've been able to build a 3mm coil, but it was a tight fit. For me, I would say the Ataman II has the best flavor for the e-liquids I use, but restrictive AF followed by the Merkava, and lastly the Tilemahos. I believe you would be very happy with any of these, as well as any of the others mentioned by Qorax and other members. I actually use 7 different ones in a rotation, depending on what I am doing: Gem, UTA, FEV, Merkava, Calix, Ataman II, and the Tilemahos, each of which has great flavor.

@Freedom2Vape It looks as though the Merkava will be my best bet. Because I do want to mention one VERY important point; I just started building my own coils about a month ago. Dating back to 3 years ago, I either used cartos, then relied on brick and mortar workers to do it for me once using RBAs. The Merkava definitely looks a tad easier to build on. I don't like the fact that the phenom has such close posts. Being such a beginner, I guess having such ample space like the Merkava will be a lot better. And being that the airflow gives you at least somewhat of a mild lung hit, that is all I need for my vape. Just can't handle the harsh closed off mtl hits. Thanks SO much for your replies. You have been such a help with me on this forum. This is why I come here; To meet real kind gents like you. Much appreciated. Hope I don't have to bug you anymore with questions.

Thanks for the kind words, @musicman21. We are here to help each other. But I can't really take the credit as there are so many members that have helped me with my questions about various RTAs (I'm still very new to this, but consider myself a quick study). I count myself fortunate to be part of this community. I look forward to your contributions as you embark on this journey :).
