Tenergy Charger Connection Problems - Try This.
Most people just bend the negative contact of the charger upward periodically to get a good contact. Well that got old, and I never was really sure if I was getting a good contact.
So:
Cut the inner tube of a cheap ball point pen to a length ( 1 3/4 ") that could be inserted underneath both negative posts of the charger.
(I just 'eyeballed it', but going back - 1 and 3/4" is the length)
Secure it in place with a small strip of clear tape in the middle so it doesn't roll around or fall out, and that's it.
This causes a nice snug fit for the batteries in the charger.
A 1-time fix, so no more bending the posts, and you know you get a good connection every time.
Things to note:
Not all of the inner tubes of these pens are of the same thickness, so if you have to use too much force to get the battery into the charger, find a slightly thinner one. You just want a nice snug fit.
Oh and please make sure there's no ink left in the tube.
Hope this is helpfull.
