Terminator C from mountain oak vapors not firing up

I purchased this terminator C from mountain oak vapors when they were going for $40 on the website. it was working great, until i had to change my coil the 3rd time. the only difference with the coil the 3rd time was that i received my usb passthrough in the mail. however since that fateful day i've wasted 3 feet of no resistance wires using all these different techniques i learned from many forum goers here to make a coil and properly insert into the terminator housing. 3 feet of no resistance wire later it still hasn't fire up no many how much space is left when im making the wraps around the coils. I've sat here in front of my monitor for countless hours trying to get this to work to no avail

i remember the last time it fired up it would only fire up if the juice control wasn't closed all the way, i had to leave the control open in order for the terminator to work. and then later that day i had to actually open the juice control ALL THE WAY for it to even fire up. you should know what happens after you open the juice control ALL THE WAY with a full tank. does anyone after some sort of idea of why this is happening? Any and all advice/criticsims are welcome, you can even tell me to use the search button, but please tell me what the hell i have to search cause i cant' seem to find anything. i have my genny right here working on that same passtrough

after doing some more investigating it seems like my terminator has been heating up the spring contact on my my mechanical mod, and it would explain why my USB passthrough doesn't work on any type of atty now. what i want to know is what am i doign wrong for the battery spring would be heating up and not the actual resistance wire?

What is the res. of the coil you wrapped??? Did you get both ends of the non res. wire trapped in the right spots?? One gets trapped between the nut and washer,the other end gets trapped just below the tightening ring and where it is secured into the bottom connector.

What kind of passthru are you using??? And is it a 5V passthru??? I have the same term c purchased from MOV's and it's been working great for the past 2 months i have had it w/o any issues.I don't use it on a passthru either so i can't tell you what the problem is with that.

the passthrough is a VV from stormy, yeah i've wrapped the NR wire in the right spots many times. i was fidgeting with the terminator today and tried out bishopheals 1 NR wire and wick set up and it worked! i was pretty ecstatic until i fully assembled it and it just started heating up the battery spring again. im assuming that this has to do with the pressurized chambers these terminators can be come but i have no idea as i suck. so it was working unassembled, heated up spring when fully assembled.

yeah i've seen that video, right now i have a mesh instead of a wick wich also acts as the heating element which is .8 ohms

Do you,or did you oxodize the mesh completely(with this build the entire piece of mesh)before you installed the coil???

i oxidized it lightly as there isn't a coil on this build but my propane tank ran out is my excuse
