I posted these questions on the massive terminator tread a few hours ago. I know it hasn't been long enough but I want to mod today and haven't received any ideas yet, so I thought I might get answers quicker if I make a tread too.

Hi all, got a question for ya. I have a terminator and I yesterday I removed the knurl around the base of the mouthpiece on my bench grinder and continued a little more to thin out the wall. I do notice an improvement but now I want to make the channels bigger, only I don't have a dremel. Is there another way to achieve this? Maybe with sand paper or file? Maybe one of those files women use for there nails? Also when I loosen the top cap I seem to get better wicking. Any ideas on that? Thanks in advance.

I assume by channels you mean the ones in the ceramic. I'd take some sandpaper, fold it in half, slide something thin in the fold (like a butter knife, nothing sharp) and work it that way, holding onto the sandpaper. That way you have something stiff to work with and can control the sandpaper better. I'd start with something between 150 and 220 grit, then polish with some 400 grit.

The reason you get better wicking with the cap loose is that it allows more airflow into the tank, esentially creating a VERY slow leak. Not enough to be a leak, really, just enough to allow more juice to get to the coil.
