So I've been using a tesla half mec mod with a twisted mess rda and home made clapton coils at about 0.13ohm for quite a while now. I've noticed that when I start to feel the power drop I will pop in a fresh set of batteries and toss the used ones on my charger and only 1 is drained. I use an efest charger that connects to my phone and it shows that one is dead and one is at 100%. I started paying attention to which battery it is that shows 100% and it's always the one closest to the button on the mod. I know that the mod is a 18650 in parallel so it should be at 4.2v and it is. With my rda on it drops to about 3.7v ish. Also if I take out the battery that is staying at 100% then the mod does not fire at all so it has to be making connection because it fires fine with it in even though it's not using it at all.

Any ideas why it would drain one while leaving the other at full power?
Slots 2 and 3 are the ones I put on the charger a bit ago.

I'm not familiar with that mod, but if only one cell is discharging then I'm guessing that there may be a bad connection on the button side of the mod. Have you tried switching their position, does the issue follow the battery or the position?
Incidentally, what batteries are you using and did you marry them?

Like Sonic, i am not familiar with this mod but until you figure out and fix the issue I would suggest not using it and especially not with a 0.13 ohm build just to be safe! Sorry can't really think what the issue might be. Perhaps try posting in the modders or ask the vets forums.

Good luck getting it sorted out.

It appears your mod is only using one of the two batteries. If this is the case, then 0.13 ohms is over 32 amps draw and is over the continuous discharge rate of your Efest batteries.

I suggest that you either stop using this setup, or at least increase the resistance of your coils to something that a single Efest battery can handle (20 amp continuous discharge rate).

OP said Efest charger not batteries.
But yes, please stop using that setup until you have rectified the fault.

Sorry, been away for a few days. I am in fact using efest batteries as of now. I have some LG HE2's on order. It follows the position. As a matter of fact, when I feel the power drop I can swap positions and am back to normal. I'm looking into ordering a tesla invader 3. Thoughts? I K of the invader 2 is dual 18650 in parallel and the 3 is in series. The 3 has a potentiometer to control voltage. I'm not super into VV but if it's a solid mod then I'm willing to try. If not then any suggestions on a good mechanical dual series box mod?

Well I got my invader 3 in along with my new LG HB6s. Only been using it about a day and a half but so far I like it. I just put my inline volt meter on it and it reads 4.09v and drops to 4.07 with my twisted mess RDA at 0.13ohm. So if my math is right that puts me at 125 watts and 31 amps. So should be well within limits. I'm going to make some new 24/36 clapton coils tomorrow and put them in. This thing hits like a train right now.
