I picked up a Tesla Touch at the end of October when VaporDNA was running their special for advocacy (pay $29.99 for the mod, and VaporDNA donates $70 to advocacy). So far, I’ve been very pleased with it except for one major pain in the ....: it turns off every ten minutes and you can’t do anything about it.

But, aside from that, having the touch screen is a major plus when it comes to the UI. I bounce from mod to mod in any given day, and it’s hard to remember what button presses are needed for certain functions. Being able to see a full menu and just touch the screen to make a choice is so much nicer!

The screen is crystal clear, and is very responsive. It automatically locks when you press the fire button, and unlocking it takes just a simple left/right swipe.

Build quality is solid – not a single rattle anywhere. The angled position of the fire button makes it very comfortable to use. Performance in TC mode has been pretty good, although it does seem to be a bit off in terms of temp – I usually end up setting the temp 20 to 50 degrees higher than I would on other mods to get the same vape.

I don’t think it’s worth the $95+ that I’ve seen it selling for at present, but it’s well worth getting should the price dip to the $50 or below range (and was a major bargain at the $30 I paid). Hopefully Tesla will address the auto shut off in a firmware update so it can be user-defined as to time, or bypassed completely.

that is one of my biggest pet peeves, mods that turn themselves off. Evolv's boards auto power down as well, after 1 hour of inactivity. however, if Tesla took a page from Evolv's book where there is no X amount of clicks to turn it on, just press the fire button and it wakes up and starts vaping from the first press. looks like a clean mod tho. have you tested it's TC functionality?
