for trying out flavors, I usually just put half a drop straight on top of the cart, and then top it off with some 12mg unflavored but slightly sweetened (ethyl maltol) nic liquid. If it goes good and Im curious if it might mix with another flavor, I'll add another half drop of that flavor as well. PG/VG works okay to
vape out an undesired flavor from an atty, but i'm too impatient. I take it off, blow it out, then fill it up with straight PG. I then forcefully blow this out, and repeat again. If a flavor seems really stuck, I'll blow a little, then draw on it bubbling the pg around a moment, blow again, repeat until all gone. This seems to get rid of almost all the flavor pretty quick, though I have also found that with some particularly lingering flavors, no matter what you do, it may take some time (hour or two) before any last hint of it is gone.
Another perhaps better way I have done is a short PGA soak of the atty, followed by the PG flush above. I don't do this much though as my PGA supply is very limited. (If anyone knows a good source of this, do let me know!)
