My son who lives 3 hours away and I have not seen in a few months, has close to the same thing for the last 2 weeks. The nurse told me that it is something going around.

Yeah, I read about that in USA Today ... or maybe heard it on the Farm and Hog Report ... one of them. Anyhow, its called the "salem lung hurter disease" that is carried by elephants and dangerous sparrows. And sometimes grasshoppers wearing turtle shells.

Of course, with the grasshoppers wearing turtle shells, it spreads real slow.

Yep, I thought about pluerisy :( This entire illness has been so weird that I hope it is just a fluke. I feel tons better than what I did though.

It gets weirder. My son who lives 3 hours away and I have not seen in a few months, has close to the same thing for the last 2 weeks. The nurse told me that it is something going around.

I hope your grandman won't get sick :( A friend I work with had two of her three young children get pneumonia this spring.

TT, there is a paranormal show on Syfy :) I know how much you like them.

LOL, I just turned the channel to that SyFy. Old Josh and company ... who fly halfway around the world to spend one night somewhere and never find anything. Josh always talks like he's sitting on the john and straining while he's talking!

I talk just like him sometimes when I'm on the john.

LOL, I can seriously bet you that after your fifth airplane ride there and back in as many days, you'd be cursing the day you ever got into that kind of job!

I lived on airplanes for a lot of years and can't begin to tell you how much I hate them.

I know I'm old and probably don't have that many years left ... but I promise, not one day of them will be spent on an airplane!

I'm a home body too. My trips are usually to see my daughter and family, and I'm usually soooo ready to get home.

When they come here, I want them to stay forever and they are soooo ready to get home!

Me too, JJ! I love going to visit my son and grandson though. That still feels like home to me.

Well, I think I'll hang it up a little early tonight. I really need to be out there doing something tomorrow.

Sure hope Gummy Bear was able to get his electrical problems fixed up, but you know, being a lightening strike it could have fried a lot of things in his wiring and appliances. I hope it didn't.

And salem, you have a good night and keep on feeling better!

And to all the rest of you, a happy night!

Good morning FranC, glad to see you're up early and turned on the lights around here! And good morning to everybody else who pops in today!

The sun in shining, supposed to be around 96 degrees today with sky high humidity and I'm, going to get out there early and get on my big ol' tractor and do some mowing. Have to keep this place looking nice for my honey girl.

I was hoping to see something from Gummy Bear saying that he had everything back to normal after the lightening strike. I just really, really hope Gummy had home owners insurance to cover the damage, but with just his wife working ... I don't know ...

Gummy, if you read this and if you do have home owners insurance, don't let the insurance company "repair" your television or anything else damaged by the lightening. They might get it working for a little while but it will go out and then you'll be stuck with replacing it. Insist on replacement and don't settle for anything less. I had a friend who went through that with the insurance company and ended up getting screwed real bad. We're praying for ya bud!

And I hope all of you have a really wonderful day!
