Hi all!
Hi Oly! glad to see you. It's been a while!
You and yours are still in my prayers too

Do you still make it out to the shooting range? I know some one does because I can hear them and so do my dogs!

I think I found another shooting range thats not too far! :p

My wife and I were kayaking on the Pax River down near Croom and Upper Marlboro the other day when we saw a group of 5 or 6 young men, probably early 20's. My wife said she didn't like the way they were walking through the woods and she was nervous. I told her we could just turn these kayaks down river and easily out run them if needed. A few minutes later, we heard them singing some rap song and shooting a gun! I told her we couldn't out run that! they didn't keep at it for too long and we never saw nor heard them the rest of our time on the river.

I don't know which was worse! The young punks shooting it up or the snakes that were swimming by!

I'm still using my E-Power 18650 so i'm happy about that side of things.

I think we got E Powers around the same time. I have since gone to the Riva from VJ and I really like it a lot! I had a batt die the other day so I got my E power out and I just don't think I like it as much as the Riva. That thing gives such a good vape!

I need to get some more of the batteries and cartos from VJ, because I don't like being left short!

I was going to order some more juice from my favorite supplier, but I guess I will hold off for a couple weeks on that!

that peaches and cream and Sundae juice is soooooo good I need to stock up!

Too bad you were not able to report them, Pad. You know that they were up to no good. Guns and punks don't mix very well :(

LOL, TT. They were having an Asian convention in Vegas when we were there. Many different cultures just don't like wearing chemicals but the smell can be offensive to those of us that do.

Of course, DH is not the type to bite his tongue so everytime that he took his hand away from his nose and mouth he just had to announce the fact that some people needed deodorant up in there.:laugh::laugh::laugh: It was bad.

salem, I have a feeling that if we lived closer together that your husband would be one of my best buddies!

It sounds like he and I have a LOT in common!

Wow TG, doing the retaining wall! sounds cool. I did a couple and you're right. You have to get that first layer level and the rest goes so smooth!

Are you using adhesive on them at all? I know some people would never glue them, but I did and I like the way they turned out better. They felt so much more secure.

Yes, Pad, that is what I'm doing today! Thankfully the heavy rains didn't get the base layer out of whack, everything is just as level as when I put it down. I have put a couple more levels on today, using an adhesive. It is a little over 30 feet long, with a 90 degree curved turn in it, so it has been interesting getting it just right. But, I am liking how it is turning out :)
And this break I am taking has lasted longer than it should :( So, I'll be seeing you cats later...

Yes, you do, TT. He is a charachter and tells the same kind of stories that you do lol Most of his are about growing up in the country and about his family. He tends to keep everyone in a crowd laughing. I used to work at a company where the owner also owned a soccer team. They always wanted us to attend all of the games. I really think that they wanted DH there for entertainment :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

Before you ask, Pad, it was the Charleston Battery I worked for Blackbaud in Charleston and Tony Bakker owned the team and Blackbaud :)

I am somewhat familair with the Battery! The pro team I root for, DC United, has played them numerous times. The games are always close entertaining!

I was with them before they had that nice stadium on Daniels Island. They used to play at a little park on the riverfront right across from the Riverdogs stadium. The partying was the best part of the game lol I also took a few bus trips with them when they had away games :) It was a blast.

The after partys downtown Charleston were always great but even better when they won lol

Thanks, prayer is greatly appreciated. I'm hoping to be at the range Monday :toast:, I'll be practicing for when snakes come up to me.

Oh i would have been reporting those punks though for sure. People that are careless and reckless with firearms make things hard for all of us.

I'm glad it isn't me putting up a retaining wall, it would kill me now a days.

 The verdict is still out whether or not I will survive it! I'm definitely feeling it, Oly! The wall is complete and I built a fire pit today. Tomorrow we (DH is taking the day off from work) are putting in the walkways. I think (I hope) the retaining wall was the most difficult part of the project. I still need to find some kind of top caps to finish off the wall, but the heavy labor on it is done! We still have a couple of smaller walls to build, but they will be on the border of the patio so it is level to begin with... thus I won't have to deal with making sure the base layer is level. It is a big project, but it will feel good to be able to say we did it ourselves!!
