It looks like kgj is getting more rain out there in the State of New Mexico than you guys up there in the northern States Sdh!! There just isn't much rain anywhere up north!! And looking at Intellicast it appears salem really is having a big ol' storm. We have a lot of rain in the area but haven't started getting any of it yet today.

I think you're right. Gummy Bear needs to do his nekkid rain dance for you guys, but Gummy, don't pee up on the porch!! And that salem wants us to sit down to pee. My gosh, how are you going to get in the shower and sit down and pee? I'd be ...... all over myself!! That woman doesn't make sense sometimes. I don't understand!

All storm and no rain. So far. I am not giving up yet though. 75% of the rain that we get here happens at night for some odd reason. This storm circled around and hit every tiny town around us with rain. We just got the thunder and lightning so far.

LOL when I first met DH he owned 10 acres. His favorite spot to "pee" was outside. I think its called marking your territory.

Its probably because he's getting all kinds of rain down his way. We didn't get any here today ... but the days not over. Its still pretty hot and very, very humid here right now. I just came in from riding one of my 4wheelers and got all sweaty just doing that.

Well TT, I got all sweaty shoveling and hauling topsoil all day And, unfortunately, the rain we had an 80% chance of getting didn't materialize. But the humidity was almost unbearable. At least you had fun getting all sweaty

salem, I'm glad to see you are getting some rest. I'm sure that's good for you! And that's cool that you found MikeV again. Where do you come up with all these MIA's?

And all the rest of you walking wounded, I hope you are feeling better today!

We still have more big chances of rain today and tomorrow. If Sdh came down here to East Texas she probably wouldn't like it here. We don't have any cracks to stick your hands in. We do have quite a few people who are full of compost though.

And I was thinking of some of our friends on here tearing up floors and rooms themselves. I have a son who has done extremely well in an oil related business and he is re-doing his house - one room at a time - by himself with the help of some friends. I'm thinking about having one of those genetic tests done to see if he really is mine because that is something I never would have done in my wildest dreams. I don't know where he gets these ideas.

Your supposed to hire people to do things like that and sit back and watch.

Well, I might go out and ride around on my 4wheeler today and check things out if I can do it before it starts raining. I actually feel like I'm starting to get a little cabin fever from being stuck inside with all this wonderful rain and nicer temps.

Hey kgj, that remote is a wonderful thing to behold and expensive too. But the first thing I would have to do is get everything tied together the way I want and that's what I've never been able to do. If you'll stop by I'll let you do it.

(See guys ... that's how you get things done around the house!!!)

If I'm ever in yeast Texas, I'll hook you up. I bought my remote as a refurb from Tiger Direct. Has been working fine for a couple of years and was much cheaper than new. They usually have some refurbs in stock. Mine's a model H659. I think it's the least expensive activity based model. I'll check later and let you know.
