TFA Banana Nut Bread - minty??

Has anyone tried TFAs Banana Nut Bread flavoring recently?? I've gotten it before - really like it - but the most recent bottle I got seems to have a pronounced minty taste. I can taste the BNB but the mint part is new. It's not just me, several people I sell juice too have said the same thing.

My batch was FB0242 (if that makes a difference).

I got mine maybe a month ago - no mint at all. Are you sure you didn't vape it in an atty/rda that had previously had a mint flavor in it?

I wish it were that easy. I don't vape mint at all - besides, by this point, multiple people (about six) have tried it in different setups and we can all taste it. It's not like it's a subtle mint, it's fairly strong. I can taste it if I lick a drop of juice (BNB 10%) off my hand.

Did you maybe mix it in a previously used bottle? I know you said you don't vape mint at all, but if you are like me, people may have given you an empty bottle that had mint previously in it.

Unfortunately, none of the above apply. I make this in large batches (500mL), always use new bottles, etc. etc. At first I thought I might have made a mistake (like substitute one ingredient for another) so I made a fresh batch but I'm still getting it.

I actually feel a bit bad right now. TFA emailed me a few minutes ago and said that someone had alerted them that I was not happy, etc. and that they would be sending me a new bottle. I'm simply trying to track down a problem and just wanted to see if anyone else had noticed anything. I definitely don't mean this as a slam against the company or anything like that. Heck, I love and use many TFAs flavorings.

(I wrote back saying that I was still trying to figure where the problem was and that I was planning on placing a large order with them next week anyway and to just hold off until then.)

I got it directly from TFA. They're a great company to work with - their customer service is absolutely the best.

Again, I'm not saying the problem is with TFA. I'm simply trying to figure out where a problem is and was looking for input.

No idea what the issue is, but these things happen. The fact that they sent you a new bottle is great news. Hopefully the new bottle will be as expected.
