Never had this flavor, but TFA Ripe Banana had a horrendous chemical flavor attached to it... and it did not go away. Not even with the super duper magic of steeping ;)

Sometimes you just find one that doesn't work, and all flavors are certainly not created equal.

You can try giving it a nice warm bath, leaving the cap off, setting it aside for weeks, months even. But I'd wager that the flavor won't change to your liking, even after all of these practices. Just my experience - were it me, I'd throw it out. :2c:

Kind of what I was thinking, I did the warm water bath, diluting it..... think I will stick with blueberry, I just remembered picking and eating huckleberries as a kid. I can assure you when I picked them they tasted nothing like this.

What percentage did you use? I did not find "extra" on TFA's website but they say it is very strong and recommend 5%. From my own experience, when they say that, you may want to start even lower, like 3%. They also recommend adding 2-3% toasted marshmallow to give the huckleberry a more "ripe" flavor.

I've not tried this one, so just passing on their recommendations.
