Hey everyone. First want to thank everyone for the help thus far. You are all extremely helpful. Which brings me to my question. I contacted chowder regarding best BF attys strictly for single coil and throat hit more than anything else. I'm looking for something that compares to the RM2 in terms of throat hit and vapor. He recommended the derringer, manta2 and nectar micro. I haven't ordered anything yet as the manta's and nectars are not in yet. Can anyone that uses any of these in single coil shed some light? My sweet spot on the RM2 is between 1.2-1.3 and 65pg/35vg. I'm hoping everyone says they all provide great throat hit and will suit me well but constructive criticism/advice is, of course, welcome. I will be using these on my reos and a tmod, not that it matters.

The two atties I have for TH are the Cyclone (non-afc, non-bottom-feed, stock hole) and as of today, the Pulse dripper. Both have tiny chambers and produce excellent flavour, neither really "chuck", but they put out more than a cig. Restrictive builds, too. The Freakshow Mini has good flavour and vapour, but not a tremendous throat hit, in my experience - and a restrictive build.

Derringer seems to be the sweetie right now but I haven't used it.

[EDIT] Forgot my whole point: Look small.

[DOUBLE EDIT] Wow, that Nectar...

This is correct. I have to build my Freakshow Mini really low to get a decent thump to the back of my throat lol. I always get really solid TH from my Magma, even in single coil mode. It is like a cigarette 2.0 to me! In fact, many of my friends who still smoke found my Magma to be the best atty they have tried in terms of satisfaction. Of course, you are looking at some much fancier attys, but I would keep the Magma in mind for the sake of having something cheap (if you get a clone) and effective in your arsenal.

Thanks a lot you guys. I appreciate it. This is all kinda hard to get my head wrapped around. So many choices and new coming out everyday. The reason I ask is because these attys aren't cheap and I want to make sure I get everything out of them that I want. I'll definitely check out the reo forum. Thanks again everyone.
