I just wanted to introduce myself and thank everybody for the valuable information posted here. I have been vaping ecigs for a bit over a week and haven't touched an analog since I figured out how to use these things. I started with a really small one, 401? but once I tried the 901 I got a few days later, fell in love and I packed up the 401 to ship to my step father and let him give it a try. (I smoke at home, never out of the house and the look isnt an issue, Im lazy, less maintenance the better)

I then ordered a penstyle and like it soooo much. The "Draw" is so easy. I decided the penstyle was for me more than 901 and definately liking sweet flavors more than cig flavors and of course decided all these things after ordering tons of stuff for a 901 and normal cig flavors. I could kick myself in the rear but I won't be running out anytime soon!(well Im also worried about the legal aspects, having product here in abundance makes me sleep better at night)

Not really having any troubles, except indecisiveness coupled with my hording personality. I think I have ordered tons from a lot of your recommended vendors, because that hording thing gets me feeling the need to stock up! I have had great service with everybody I have ordered and received from so far, Thesmokelessshop, Puresmoker, Cigtechs, and Litecigusa are the ones I've received product from so far. All very good and helpful business people. Thank you for indulging my addictions!

I first read about ecigs on a deal forum(slickdeals.net, love that site), somebody posted a link to a deal on amazon for an ecig kit "deal", I was like "what the heck is an ecig?" and checked out the links, did some research and jumped right in. I still have 9 packs of full cigs sitting here and 1 pack with 19 in it. An open pack right here, no temptation, I have to tell you that is a major big deal as I have smoked for 30 years. The taste of the ecig is so much better than an analog, the desire just isnt there. I was a pretty light smoker, maybe 7-10 a day and I went with mostly med nic in my liquids. I'm hoping to grab a bit of low soon, and maybe someday none, but hear the throat hit isnt there and not sure I can do it without that little kick in the throat. I am so allergic to dust/dander and appareantly cig smoke because ever since I quit smoking the analogs I haven't had allergy/sinus headaches. I am so excited!

I just wanted to introduce myself, thank everybody for their helpful information. I have spent money on parts, liquids, a steamer, some fibers for cartridges, even a portable usb battery thingie. You guys have helped me stimulate the economy :) Thank you all so much!

SWEET Bulldog :)

Awww, what a cute bully you have in your avatar, Bulldog! I love my baby in my avatar, her name is Bailey :) Go canine bulldogs!

I wonder if anybody sells these things in WA, we're a pretty progressive state and all...concealed firearms carry permits, liberal medicinal marijuana laws, drive friendly signs on our highways, somebody must sell them here!

He isn't mine, I had one for 13 years and after he passed it has been tough for me to adopt one. His name was Bert. Bert the bulldog. Thinking of him can still bring a smile to my face and a tear to my eye.

Let me add my welcome as well. :)

And don't kick yourself too much over your excessive purchases. Think about it this way--your purchase of the 401 e-cig allowed you to introduce another smoker to the joys of vaping. As for the 901, well, even though you love your penstyle, you'll find that your 901 is an excellent backup. In addition to serving as a backup, I use my 901 to test drive new flavors. That way if something is way strong or positively nasty, I don't mind putting the 901 atomizer out of commission for a day in order to give it a thorough cleaning.

As for the hoarding, well, I completely understand. In addition to my normal hoarding tendencies, I am deathly afraid that e-liquid will become difficult to impossible to get. My husband recently asked me if I was stocking up in anticipation of the apocalypse. :D

Today marks the beginning of my 6th week of being tobacco-free. Pretty amazing considering I was a 2+ pack a day smoker for 30 years.

Cindiwa (or anyone else for that matter),
What is it you like about the 901 better then the 401? I have just ordered my first ecig, a 901 from one of the resellers recommended by the members of this site. Even though my 901 has not shown up yet, I am thinking of ordering a 401. Is that a mistake? Should I just buy more extra parts, and liquid for my 901?

I would also like to thank the members of this site for all of your help, and great info posted. I was lucky enough to find this place before I bought anything, and therefore did not get taken by a $150 ecig from a kiosk at a mall!!

To Cindiwa and Bulldog44, bulldogs rock! They have such a great and funny personality. Bulldogs and Greyhounds are my two favorite breads....

I got the 401 because I thought it most resembled a cigarette and I wasn't sure what part of smoking I would miss (weird, eh? I meant the handling it, flicking it, lighting it, smoking it and I did realize how much of my addiction is habit in addition to nicotine) but when I got the 901, I felt it had more of a feel in my throat. I have to admit, though, I was getting liquid in my mouth on the 401 as well, I didn't understand enough about it to realize it was operator error and not a problem with the device.

When I finally realized how to work the 2 of them, I could tell the difference and with a larger battery charge and cartridge I finally realized I didn't care if it looked or felt like a cigarette at all. The 901 just had more vaper to me. Now, after that realization, I tried a penstyle and found it was even better than the 901 because the draw seems so much easier...haha. I just hope I don't figure out what is beyond that penstyle or I will be broke!!

I don't smoke outside my house, so the size didn't matter, found that I just enjoy vaping, haven't missed the feel of a cig in my fingers. I think everybody probably has their own attachments to different parts of the smoking experience. I would say if sized like a real cig matters in your enjoyment, the 401 is best...but if you're like me (LAZY) then bigger charge/bigger cartridge is a real benefit. I hate to fill/charge/clean anything.

I LOVE my bullies, although they chase the mailman when the slilp by me out the door for my e cig deliveries, not to bite him, but to lick him and get attention. Any people they see must be there to pet them...they are sooo spoiled. Good luck on which ever you choose, heck, buy them all, then you have vaping choices for your moods!
