I research everything. It's my nature. I researched all I could on ECF on what to and not to do when it comes to PV's. So many knowledgeable people on this site. The result? Absolutely NO PROBLEMS with our Sidesho pv, with auto batteries, from Modern Vapor. Learned on here that any juice getting into the auto battery can short it out. Read about how to prevent it from happening from posts on here. Thank you.

I started out using an atty. They are messy, troublesome and I was getting tired of getting juice in my mouth. From the many posts on here on how cartos are so much better than attys, I decided to give them a try. Wow! The difference is like night and day. Huge volumes of vapor, very easy to refill and juice blow-back is rare. I have refilled them too many times to count and they're still going strong. I learned here on how to clean them. Only cleaned one so far. I removed the sticker and wiped off the adhesive residue with rubbing alcohol before boiling the carto. I didn't want to be vaping that. Thank you to the pro-carto folks. You also saved me money because I wanted the vapor production a lot of you get from mods and such. With the cartos I am getting more than enough vapor to satisfy, so no money has to be spent upgrading.

I got into DIY juice mixing quickly. Not only is it cheaper mixing your own juices, but it's fun making it yourself. So many different recipes to try. After much experimentation I've found a 24mg nic 60vg/40pg blend suits my needs perfectly. I use the mixing calculator I downloaded from ECF. A must have tool if you decide to DIY. Thank you to the person who made it.

Lastly, thank you ECF for the great vendors you have listed on your site. The three I've bought from so far have been awesome. :)

Great story! I hope other's take it to heart that have just found ECF. Research will not only really save you a lot of heart ache but will teach you things you never expected along the way. On my own personal note, research did a lot of good for me as well. I got very lucky, my eGo has been a perfect fit all because I researched. If I just went with what I first saw, I would of bought an over priced penstyle kit at vendor I won't mention, over priced dekang juice, and banging my head against the wall with frustration if I had any issues because when I called them and left a message, never to this day did I ever hear a word back or a message left on the answering machine. Holy run on sentence lol But you get my point. Research! Knowledge is power!!!

I love your story, I'm a researcher too, about everything. When I stumbled across this forum it was the best thing I have ever found on the internet for me. The people here are the best of the best and are keeping me going right now. I come here to get filled up and to be with people of like minds. I love ECF and the people here, I couldn't do this without them.

Love this story....too many posters here go the easy route and just start asking questions without reading or doing any research. And there are so many generous, kind people who answer the same questions over and over. Sometimes I am amazed...to see the same thread started with the same question that was just asked and answered in a previous thread on the SAME DAY. Glad you took the responsiblity to spend some of your own time before jumping into vaping.

Indeed! I was one of the not so smart ones when I first started. I did do a bit of research around the web but I had no idea ECF existed then. I've wasted a bunch of money on kits that didn't do the trick and I wasn't happy with them. A little while later I discovered ECF and the good people here kept me from falling off the bandwagon when I probably otherwise would have. Now I'm smoke free for about 5 months. Thanx ECF!

I did the same thing...cause if you research e cigs.....zillions of websites come up. And I bit and ordered one of the overpriced ones which did not work well. But after discovering ECF, I then took it upon myself to read everything on here that pertained to others' experiences...reading review after review, thread after thread... I let them teach me by reading. And I still had questions, but hopefully not questions that had already been addressed over and over.

And I am still thankful everyday for this wonderful forum and its generous, funny, members.
