Hello Everyone!

I just wanted to say thanks for this wonderful community! At first I was overwhelmed by the number of vendors, kits, choices, thread types and more but after doing quite a lot of reading and thinking I've finally made the jump.

I finally ordered a HALO G6 kit - but even still I have a couple of questions:

Are there any 'Pack Style' PCCs for the 808's? Think like the Blu or Apollo PCC. I know a lot of PCCs exist but I would prefer it to have enough space for two batts (charging at least one of them) and several Cartos. The closest I've seen to what I want is this: KR808D 1 XL Smart PCC Charging Case

Also, although I ordered a HALO sample pack (Variety), I know I will end up trying to find some better flavors that aren't all tobacco-like. If I understand correctly, the V4L prefilled cartos would fit my Halo, but I've seen threads where people say they hit differently than on a V4L kit, so I want to make sure I get the right ones - or should I just get the juice and make the cartos myself.

What would your recommendations be ECF?

Thanks in advance, and I appreciate everyone's opinions and responses - not just in my thread, but in the hundreds of others on this forum each and every day!

It really helps the lurkers like me...

Welcome! Nice choice on the G6 kit...great for starting out. Get juice to refill your Halo cartos...cheapest/best way to vape. You can get blank cartos from Halo as well to fill with your own juice. Their Tribeca and Prime 15 are some of the best tobacco flavors I have ever vaped. As for the PCC...the one you linked should be just right for you. I don't use PCCs much tho so somebody else could tell you more.

I've never seen a real cig-pack style PCC for KR808D-1

BTW - you can also use cartos from SmokelessImage, Bloogplanet (both have bottom coil vapory cartos) and Vapor4Life (have hotter harder hitting cartos and by hotter I mean I also recommend a plastic or delrin drip tip as a mouthpiece - but I found 2 of my favorite liquids there by trying prefilled single flavor packs and sampler packs of cartos). And you can use any 2.5 to 3 ohm KR808D-1 blank cartos made by 3rd parties - there are even clear cartos (but the totally clear ones can crack and fall apart)

When you buy a spare battery, I recommend manual (safer from juice leaks, easier to get a good hit)

I prefer thin juices in cartos - PG w/ 20% or less VG. And I avoid juices that drop a lot of flavoring sediment. I can get 7 days use out of a KR8 carto by keeping it damp.

I like to buying different juices and then play around mixing them. Some juices can be made better by mixing them together. If you like a certain tobacco flavor, and it has hints of vanilla or whatever, you can buy some vanilla and add it to your own taste. Sometimes I have to tone down a flavor or bump up a flavor so having the ability to experiment is nice. You will find that you can become sick of a good flavor so you need to have a good selection around for swapping out. Then you go back to the ones you like and they taste great again. I used to do the same with cigars. I would have a small humidor full of different ones that I liked and switch around, its the same with juice.

Have fun.

Somewhere out there
I have a G6 PCC and it is great for traveling, but only charges one at a time. I use two wall chargers to charge at home. I love Halo's tobacco and menthols. I am also making DIY using their Fusion base and you can have a boat of flavors that way. Just buy the DIY flavors form any of the DIY stores and mix with the Fusion, yummy :) Have fun! bnrk
