Looks like Section 9 of the VT legislation (H 747), which would have banned Internet purchase/sale/delivery of e-cigarettes, is now dead!!!!!!!

An hour ago, CASAA's Greg Conley received the following e-mail.

Many thanks to Greg for campaigning to defeat this.

Everyone who contacted Vermont is responsible for this win. CASAA makes the contact information available in our calls to action, but without the support of vapers everywhere, we would not have as much success.

There is strength in numbers, so please continue to watch CASAA - The Consumer Advocates for Smoke-free Alternatives Association to find out how to help.

And, yes, let's face it, Greg's a rock star!!

Thank you for the kind words, but I was only on the front line of the campaign. Our big reason for killing this is that two Vermont-based e-cigarette companies would have been effectively shut down by the bill.

As I was joking with a vendor last night, we need e-cigarette companies in every state. Who wants to start one in North Dakota?
