Love your juice!! (I thought I was posting in the innovapor thread when I first posted, hence the title)

While I'm here I do have a question...

I ordered gold 20mg, gold 30mg and krystal 36mg juices from Innovapor. Each vile is clearly marked on the bottom, however, on the label they all say "Contains <2.6% v/v Nicotine." I read that to mean that each bottle, regardless of strength labeled on the bottom contains the same amount of nicotine. So, what exactly does that mean and how does it differ from the strength of each type? Thanks!

Sounds like Innovapor got lazy or careless and applied the same labels to all bottles...

The proper label for Krystal, for example states "Contains <4.00% v/v Nicotine". That means for 30ml of Krystal, there's no more than 1.2ml of nicotine. (the "v/v" means 'volume for volume')

The nicotine levels in our favorite juices are usually rated in mg/ml, or milligrams of nicotine per milliliter of liquid. (strictly speaking that would be "m/v") While not really accurate *, it's usually considered that one milliliter masses 1000mg (one gram), so 36 mg/ml is roughly 3.6% nicotine, 96.4% everything else. (those percents are pretty close whether you're talking about volume or weight/mass, since we're talking about something with about the density of water)

* actually it depends on the density of the liquid - pure water is one gram per ml at 'standard' temperature and pressure. In fact that's the definition of a gram, it is the mass of one ml of pure water at 4 degrees celsius and one atmosphere of pressure, IIRC. Pure Water CANNOT ever get denser - at temperatures and pressures higher or lower than this, it is less dense. Vegetable Glycerine is denser than water, Propylene Glycol is slightly less dense. e-liquids vary in density depending on ingredients, but as a ballpark number 1g/ml is reasonably close.

It does seem like a case of IV not updating labels for the different strengths and I'll email Noah as he is usually a stickler for accuracy. We have a system in place at Intellicig where every liquid is assigned its own label and the nicotine level is clearly indicated. The symbols also vary according to strength in accordance with CHIP regulations and are the most accurate and current.
Labels are only printed at the time of bottling and are automatically assigned a unique batch number.

Well, it does say "<" after all... even all my zero-nic ECOpure bottles from InnoVapor say that, and it's technically correct: 0.0 is less than 2.6. I just assumed that they use the same label on all bottles. The only labeling difference between InnoVapor bottles is the round sticker on the bottom indicating flavour and strength.

I've never been entirely comfortable with that method, since it seems to make it too easy for a bottle to be mislabeled. So far, of all the liquids I've ever received, Intellicig's labeling has been the best in terms of quality control assurance, because it's a different label per flavour/strength and not just a little peel-off sticker on the bottom or a handwritten tick mark next to the proper item in a list of all flavours and strengths, as Johnson Creek does.
