So I placed my order with V4L during their Labor Day sale and it just arrived today. The sale was incredible as it was but you went the extra step and threw in 3 freebies! I am in awe and so so so appreciative. Times are very tough in this household right now so I wanted to say a HUGE thank you!

I ordered the Coffee sampler cartomizers and Peach Cartomizers. Both are great although I'm realizing that since I started vaping (2 and a half weeks ago) my initial carts were Strawberry and then I had ordered Menthol juice just to try and I've gotten so use to having Menthol added I'm dying without it. LOL Silly me, I should have ordered a small bottle just in case.

But anyways, again, I thank you so very much!

Well, after using my new cartos for a while I've come to the conclusion that coffee flavors aren't really my thing although not bad when actually drinking my coffee. Something about them upset my stomach and gives me a headache.

The peach ones kind of made me feel icky for a while but I've gotten use to them. I think I just need to add a few menthol drops to it to take away the sweet bite from them but all n all, not bad.

I did encounter a problem though. One of the peach cartomizers won't work. I put it on my pv and when I went to vape it made that popping sound like normal. Now when I first put a cart on, I vape it until I hear the pop then quickly pull away seeing as how the initial pop can throw liquid at me and then proceed to vape. But this cart wouldn't vape after the initial popping sound. I've hooked it to all my pv's. 2 manual batts, one auto and my passthrough and nothing so I'm thinking something broke internally in the carto. And one of the freebies (sour apple) tastes like its burnt. I'm just assuming the liquid inside maybe dried out faster than most. I figure once my liquid order arrives I'll put some in it and see if it works.

I am still very happy with my products and this company so far. One bad carto (unless I can fix the problem somehow) and one that just tastes dry yet I got 3 freebies, I still come out ahead and am pleased. Just gonna have to keep ordering different flavors to find whats right for me

What I find odd is when I started smoking cigs, they tasted NASTY yet I kept doing it. Now if something just isn't to my liking but not nasty, I still don't want to touch it for the most part. And these are actual FLAVORS! sheesh... Wish I was that picky when I picked up my first cig. Could have avoided the whole smoking thing in the first place.

I was actually looking at that one as my possible next order. My worry is I hated the RY4 that I ordered with my initial Kit (ordered from somewhere else) so now I'm weary of any tobacco flavoring at all. I'm afraid of not being able to smoke them. The reason I gravitate to menthol though is because I had added a bottle of menthol juice to my initial order and the menthol being added to cartos I couldn't stomach definitely made it WAY better so those actually look like a good option (or sound like it anyways).

Soooo many I want to try and so little money. I'm just hoping I find my sweet spot sooner rather than later so I don't waste too much money on stuff I don't like and get to the point that it's costing more than I can afford to keep this going. I'm still very optimistic seeing as though I'm not totally in love with what I've tried yet I don't hate it for the most part. Especially since I ran out of everything prior to this order getting here and had to smoke cigs exclusively (I haven't quit completely and was down to one a day) and was hating every moment of that and felt like I was having withdraws from my vaping instead! I prefer it and enjoy this much better.

And I just realized I yack too much at 5am. I normally just lurk... :hides:

Welcome to the v4l board. These folks provide very good service and have an awesome flavor selection. I'm still sorta new to all this myself. One thing to be aware of is the learning curve. I recommend that you view Snow Dragon's two excellent videos one is on minor adjustments to cartomizers and batteries (i.e., raising the posts). Sometimes you will have to do this if theres no contact being made. It's a very simple 2 second fix. The other video Snow has done is on battery cleaning. If you can master these two beginner skills you will get a lot more out of your equipment and will have much less frustration. They are up there in the sticky threads.

Be wary of your changing taste too. As your taste and smell improves, your taste is very likely to change dramatically. It's 3 months since I switched, and I'm back to liking tobacco flavors after loving them, hating them, liking them ok, then hating them again. It's crazy and really kinda cool. This sounds very much like a case of too much nicotine. What mg. cartos did you get? Either the mg. is too high for you, or you may be "chain vaping" too much (many of us do at first!)

This is exactly what happened to me at a level which was too high for me. Once I backed off to a lower level of nicotine it all went away.

As someone who has had a lot of vaping issues I would suggest reading everything you can on this forum about flavors, nic levels etc. Enjoy!

These cartos I ordered were 18mg. My first ones were 24mg but I decided to drop it to see the difference and I'm actually vaping less now than when I started oddly enough.
