Thanks Imeo - deep engravings/serial #'s

Many thanks again for listening to your GG forum friends and making the deeper engravings. These are just great and will last for a very long time if not forever.

No longer do we have to worry about polishing and losing the very beautiful engravings. That was always a main concern for myself and others.

The engravings are just excellent, may be a tad rough for some - but will smooth out in a couple weeks. I say it's the best thing to happen yet to a GG product - many thanks again.

Also the requests for certain serial #'s on the upcoming Proteus.

No maker I know of would do such a thing, this is unheard of. To allow people to pick and choose a number is really something and I salute you.

I hope everyone understands what you and your suppliers are going to have to go through with sorting the #'s, checking the lists, adding other product to the order, etc, etc.

This is going to be a nightmare for the ones that have to do all of this. I for one would not want to.

Therefore, another big thank you for doing this.

While I'm at it - thanks again for making the adjustable brass buttons again. You do indeed listen to your GG users on the forums.

I second everything mentioned by brother dspin and want to show you the new SS flat button Imeo just made for us. Some of you may have seen others haven't.
Again WE pestered Imeo for an SS version of the brass flat head he recently made and AGAIN he delivered.

Yes thank's Imeo for everything you do. While I havn't seen any new engravings in person yet they look great in the pictures. And as for buttons my new Brass adjustable throw is now my favorite!!

The postman came to deliver my new bottom tube yesterday and my teenage son did not answer the door so I got a pick up slip rather than my precious new GG. I was so bummed out! Can't wait till tomorrow morning when I can see the engravings first hand. Am going to build a new stealth with it. Now just need 1 more feeder and am settled on my PVs for a while.

I thought it was decided to go with rounded top round ss adjustable thrown buttons? Either way this is the first I have heard of them already going on sale someone please verify.

I think I misunderstood Capt Steve's post fright. Regardless of whether it's domed or flat, I WANT one of the adjustable SS buttons I would be crushed if I missed them.

Imeo has said in another thread that he will be making the next round of GGTS buttons in steel (stainless) with the round, domed head. Like the deeply engraved new bottom tube now in hand awaiting the location of a brass Rev-1 4-in-1 cap nad a brass Rev-1 3 vent hole bottom cap, I look forward to the new buttons.

For those of us who love to polish, the new deep engraving is a wonderful thing. I must say the more I look at my new tube, I am really liking the large wings and other engravings layout as well. Thanks to Imeo for this.

And for those who don't get to the P&P list very often, that project is coming along nicely. It is great to see the world-wide GG family pulling together to see such a large project come to be!

LOVE the new engravings. nice touch to a perfect mod. As for the buttons, at this rate I will end up with a button for each day of the week for each GGTS. Nothing wrong with that. I like variety.


Edit: OOOH just realized I got my ECF veteran status. Hurrah for me!!!
