I just wanted to thank everyone here so very much for all the advice on vaping they're giving for those of us new to vaping
The advice you have given has been so helpful to me in learning how to get off the analogs.
I quit smoking on Thursday and made it thru the weekend vaping only with no cravings whatsoever, it was amazing.
The only issues I had were getting rid of smoking habits.
Like looking for an ashtray, reaching for a lighter, wanting to set the vapor in the ashtray like a ciggie instead of just laying it down somewhere, constantly wanting to thump my ashes..lol..it's funny the habits I'd gotten into with smoking analogs.
And I really appreciate everything I've learned here in the forums from everyone about dripping, cartridges, throat hit, cleaning atomizers...etc.
I seriously doubt that I could ever have done this without all the knowledge I've learned here. I truly appreciate the videos and well thought out explanations that have helped me choose vaping over smoking analogs. And which one to choose, and picking out the juice and making sure I had everything that I needed for it. Also, how to do everything.
I've tried to quit smoking so many different ways... this really is working out great for me. My husband and I really couldn't believe it. We've both tried to support each other several times while quitting (I was almost a 2 pack a day on Marlboro) and we expected it to be harder for me than it was.
But he smoked his ciggies at home all thru this weekend, while I vaped instead, (both of us expecting for me to crave a ciggie sometime during the process) and I still didn't crave a ciggie at all, not once!... it was great!
Usually when I'm trying to quit, that's my biggest downfall, someone will light up a cigarette around me and I'll crave one so much I'll go back to smoking. But that didn't happen to me with vaping.
So yesterday, DH tried out my DSE901 and he decided to start vaping, instead of smoking, so I've put in an order for him. We're both so glad to be getting off the ciggies.
He told me he'd been thinking about quitting alot too, but didn't think he could quit the analogs while I was still smoking them around him.
