Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and experiences.

I've done really well today. So far only 3 partial (less than half) ciggies. I think I am figuring out the 24 is too much as often as I was doing it, so I am only vaping that level sparingly. The 12 seems to be doing ok today.

I WILL QUIT ANALOGS. I'm just going to have to make adjustments as I learn more about vaping and what works for me.

I started vaping with 24 mg and the carts were advertised at 1.5 packs.
The first full day I drained 3 carts and smoked 4 butts.
I had a headache almost all day but was amazed that I only had 4 butts and they were actually disgusting to me.
I thought I'd give myself a heart attack vaping so much then learned the carts are really only about a half pack so 3=about 1.5 packs.
I smoked 25-30 per day so that was a relief that I didn't really vape 4 packs worth!

I started vaping with the intention to allow myself to wean off with a few packs.
I finished the one I was on the day after I started vaping.
I bought one last Saturday and finished it today (Thursday) at 6PM
1 pack lasted me 5 full days. Holy batfarts!

I was initially disappointed with the vape replacing the smoke for about a day.
By the second day I enjoyed the vape more than I used to enjoy the smokes.
The smokes I had were unsatisfying and somewhat gross for a few days.
The last couple I had seemed like I had them just to reaffirm that I don't like them and don't need them.
I'm pretty sure that I bought my final pack on Saturday and smoked my final cancerstick today.
Finding a flavor that I truly love (Fireball) has seriously helped.

Reading and posting in here helps remind us that we're not alone with our struggles and we're doing the right thing.

Hang in there, you'll succeed if you want to :)

Thank you all for shearing!
For a month ago I was smoking 20-25 smoke’s a day. Today I have smoke just 5 smokes. I know that I needed to take one step at the time, but now the smoke don’t taste like it used to. I have found a flavor I like but now the dealer is out of the 25 mg nicotine in that flavor so I have order one bottle in 18 mg and will give that a try. Hope it will work. But I hope the dealer will get the 25 mg again soon because I had try some another flavor from some another place, but I don’t like the taste of it.

Sorry my bad English, I got dyslexia…

2.5 days since my last cancerstick/coffinnail.
I get am occasional thought about a smoke but I take a few vapes of Fireball and all's good.
No more suicide on the installment plan.

Amazing thing is it calculates to $20/week instead of $60-$80
The savings on less than two weeks to pay for my vaping rig, a backup rig & a couple of knit lanyards.

Time for a quit sig yay

I've only been off the real cigarettes about three days, but people's advice here to smoke if you want to seems good to me. I'm still carrying a pack in my shirt pocket, and have found myself pulling one out from time to time, but then I stop and think "Gross--I don't really want one of these" and puff on the ecig instead. I think looking at smoking as not a huge deal and giving yourself the freedom to smoke if you feel like it helps a lot.

Since I've been vaping, I haven't had any real cravings. Which is strange, because I would go NUTS if I ran out of cigarettes at an inopportune moment when I was smoking. I still pull out a cigarette a few times a day, but I stop and think "Wait, vaping is so much nicer!"
