Just wanted to make this post and tell everyone that it has been 5 days now since I've had any nicotine. I decided to replace the 30ml bottle of 4mg Smilin Special Menthol that has been sitting on my desk where I vape all the time with a bottle of 0mg Smilin and since that day I haven't vaped any nicotine! Crazy really..... 3 days actually went by before it hit me that I hadn't had any.

I had been stepping down strengths right from the get go. I started vaping 18mg juices. After a few weeks I dropped to 11, then 8 after a few weeks, then 4 where I had been sitting for a couple months mixing in some 0mg juices as well. I really can't believe these days have come. I bought my Vapor King kit almost 6 months ago(Feb 13th will be 6 months) after 15 years of smoking cigs and wanting to kick the habit that was making me sick to my stomach while cursing myself for ever starting.

I read the reviews prior to ordering from V4L and really didn't believe them to be honest. I mean really, reading reviews of people claiming they smoked 2 packs a day for 30 years and after getting one of these lil e cig gadget things never picking up a cigarette again, anyone would be skeptic. I decided to give it a shot and truthfully that was the best decision I have made in the past ten years without question. The day my kit arrived I smoked my last analog and haven't looked back. Never in a million years did I think I would be tobacco free and nicotine free. Friggen unbelievable!

Anyways I just wanted to thank V4L and the people on the forum. I couldn't have done this without either of you. Now if only I can start weening myself off the e cig lmao. :p TY

Way to go SoFo! I'm just about there myself with a very similar story. I started vaping 5+ months ago at 18 nic level and have been working myself down ever since. I still have some partial bottles of 4 and 6 nic juices, but the majority of my stash is now at 0 level. This is an amazing product and quitting the analogs and dropping the nic has been surprisingly easy. As a smoker for 30 years (who really liked smoking), I never thought it was possible. Thanks V4L!

I, too, say congrats to you sofocused! You are my role model. :2cool:

I find myself nearing the same point, after less than 2 months smoke free. While I've read that I may have stepped down too soon, my nic headaches were telling me, go, go go! I am so sensitive to the 4 mgs I do vape occasionally that I wonder now how I smoked at all, even the ultralights.

Again, I can't tell you how thrilled I am for you. You give me hope that soon I won't want any nic at all.

Thanks everyone. It really wasn't that hard to do and I believe any one of you can do it. As far as quitting vaping, I still like to burn hippy lettuce and always enjoy vaping afterwards so I won't be giving it up completely. It would just be cool to not have it in my mouth all the time like my nephew with his bubba haha.

Nice. I started w/ 24mg, well 36 actually but quickly discovered I didn't need 36. Going on maybe two years now and I'm working through my stash of 8mg and planning the next order at 6mg.

I'm sure I can get down to 4mg or so and then start spacing the vaping sessions further and further apart. I don't know about 0mg though - for me there is this mental trigger where as long as I know I'm getting some nic I think I'll be alright. If I know I'm vaping 0mg I won't fall for my own tricks and I'll crave. 0mg would probably work IF I didn't know it was 0mg LOL. Thus the plan to stay with the nic at low mg but start spacing sessions further apart.

Like I said it is going on two years now, the fact that I can just take my time and move at my own pace is the only reason it is working for me at all, it is just progressing kind of naturally. 6 months is amazing.
