We smokers automatically say we want tobacco flavor when we are gonna give up the cigs. I did, i got every tobacco flavor i could get my hands on (or afford). But i thought, what the hell, why not just have a few that taste good. I have 2 tobacco flavors that i really only go after when i'm having a few drinks.
During the week, at work, at home, at play, I have some awesome flavors. Chewing gum, coffee, spearmint.

Try to remember that 1st smoke, or that 1st smoke after quitting for 2 weeks. It tastes bad, it smell bad.

I think you should have and try a variety of flavors. I takes time and testing to find what you like, but some of them are just delicious.

Buy the small bottle, mix it with some other one that just wasn't there, there is a flavor for everyone.

Brilliant point there. I'm only 6 days off tobacco, and so far I've been stockpiling only tobacco flavours-the stronger the better. I was even tempted to go for the 56 mg nicotine juice, but decided that'd just be far too strong. Right now, I'm vaping "Cubano cigar" flavour, and it's nice, but when I tried a high quality caramel flavour it really blew my socks off for sure; it tasted great. I did try a strawberry flavour as well, and it was quite nice, but lacking in a strong hit. I was gonna mix my strawberry with a virginia juice 50:50 just to give it a bit of kick. Is it okay to mix juices from the same manufacturer btw?

In my years of following vaping, it seems that people that like flavored juice are more likely to be able to replace smoking with vaping. People like me that are looking for a cig replacement, have a tougher time. Right now I have varied between none a day and 4 a day of the stinkys. I just don't like the fruits and drinks and sweet stuff. I'm a black coffee and regular cig guy.
I have found a few flue cured and pouch tobacco flavors that I like, but not for all day. Still searching for that all day juice that will help me give up the sticks.

If you want a stronger kick, try adding 5 drops of 50+ proof vodka to your juice.

There is absolutely no issue with mixing your juices -- mix away. But you might want to try a small sample before going whole hog.

Johnson Creek's Domestic and Tennessee Cured (Red Oak line) are what got me off the stinkies. Try them, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I quit after my first vape. I've gone to diy and tried a lot of flavors I like, but still I want a tobacco I can mix. I've found several local B&M shop premixes that I like, but haven't been able to get anywhere near a cigarette taste by makin it myself with RY4, Tobacco Absolute blend, M-Type Premium Tobacco or Dekang. I must be mixin it wrong or getting poor quality juice. I'm tryin to get relatives to try vaping but they all want a tobacco and are turned off by the thought of puffin on fuits and sweets. I notice you are still goin back to tobacco with a beer.

So very true. When I joined ECF I was only vaping a menthol mix, because I smoked menthol cigarettes. I swore that I would never vape any of those fruity, sweet, candy flavors. And then....well, you already know the rest of the story. Folks in ECF encouraged me to be open to other flavors. They reminded me that I didn't smoke any more, so why would I only vape flavors that were tobacco or menthol based.

So my all day vape is still a menthol based flavor. At night I like to rotate juice flavors and have 4 other clearos filled and swap between them during the evening. I'm vaping mango while typing (tasty), will move to chocolate chip ice cream in a while, then to peach, then to kiwi. I seldom vape my all day vape in the evening.

I am so grateful that folks here encouraged me to be open to new flavors. Thank God I found sample packs and was able to try a variety for a reasonable price and then order larger bottles of the ones I liked. Sometime in the next week I will be ordering another sample pack from Mr. Vape and will hopefully find a couple more that I really enjoy.

So many juices, so little vape time !! :)

Hey Paul, I felt the same way I found a tobacco/maple combo that does the trick just right, just a hint of maple flavour at the back of the tobacco. Then tried the straight maple and liked that, that led to others etc etc. My fav right now is chocolate mint.

I recently stumbled across a bag of old samples I collected during what I call my "great tobacco hunt of 2012". Yep, they are well steeped but still nasty. I probably tried over 50 samples from 7-8 different companies. Fortunately one of them was a cherry cigar flavor that was more cherry than cigar. That led me to other fruit flavors and finally ended the my futile hunt for that elusive cigarette flavor. I still use that cherry cigar flavor every now and then...I'm rather fond of it since it was the flavor that kept me from smoking.

There really isn't a replacement flavor for burning tobacco because it tastes awful (something I discovered after vaping exclusively for a few weeks). It was easy to quit cigarettes after my mind accepted that I was getting the same nicotine fix from the vapor.

Really, it is just that. Tobacco tastes awful. Shades of awful, ur liking to awful. Smokers simply get used to the awful taste, it becomes normal, this is what smoking taste like. If you want awful taste, I am sure it's out there for you. Someone is making it (accident or on purpose).

And you can't go just by name. I bought "Cubin Cigar" simply because it was 18 nic juice. Being in Toronto, you don't have many choices. Wow, this juice is awesome. It vapes like a cig, mixed with a glass of wine, mixed with a beer, mixed with a stick of chewing gum.
I'm not good at putting taste into words, but it taste good.

Really, smokers, pick a flav that comes as close to cig as you wish. Then you'll find, you be open to more than you would like to admit.

In my happy place
I looked for a tobacco replacement at first until I stumbled on hazelnut. After that I branched out to try other things. I found one called blue Moo - tastes like a blueberry muffin, Rootbeer, and tonight I am dripping a free sample of thin mint - tastes like the cookie. I gave most my tobacco flavors away since they taste like crap now.

I started trying all sorts of flavors in the beginning. I just recently switched to RY4 which to me is the best tobacco flavor ejuice out there. I realized that long term vaping of one non-tobacco flavor is not for me. Some are too sweet and get old, some are tangy that end up putting me off if I vape too much of it. I do vape RY4 as my daily juice. It's just mellow enough, not sweet, not sour, nutty and carmel-y and tobacco-y that is perfecto.
It took me a long time finding my daily vape trust me.

When I first started vaping with tanks and liquids, I avoided tobacco flavors, just because I thought it would only make me want to smoke real cigs. Plus I was enamored with the many different fun flavors.

The one time, I received a free sample of an RY4. I tried it, and it BLEW MY MIND. It's still one of my all day vapes. Then I started trying tobacco flavors from AVE (Boba's and Gorilla Juice) and decided that tobacco flavors are definitely for me.

Getting ready to try a tobacco from HHV. I'm excited. But I do believe that in the beginning, I needed to NOT use tobacco juices. Now that I don't really want cigs anymore, it's all good.

The RY4 that I love is from Derp Sauce. Tastes great without steeping....but after lots of steeping, it's not as sweet and tastes more like a real cig. I really enjoy it.

Yup...I have maybe 8 different bottles of "tobacco" flavor...the instant I tasted "Strapple" I haven't gone back...love the fruity flavors and all geeked out by strawberry flavors...I think I tried some RY4 not too long ago and it was ok but I like the fruity best!
