I have a bunch of 80PG/20VG to get through, but I did an experiment the other week and mixed up some flavors with 100% VG and the same flavors with 100% PG. The 100% VG hit me like a brick wall with running nose, bad headache and horrible taste. The 100% PG tasted fine and was very smooth, but no throat hit or vapor.

From now on I'm going to go with 90PG/10VG...I don't understand how those 100VG folks can handle that stuff, lol :)

Very interesting, because PG gave me headaches, sore throat, and bad taste. Now I will say my nose does run alot with 100% VG but for some reason PG made me fell sick. I eventually plan on trying higher PGs again in the future, just to make sure it was the PG, as I have never been allergic to anything.

Ive never been allergic to anything in my life, but PG makes my mouth so dry for some reason. Drinking water doesnt help at all. From what Ive read many other people say, PG (for some people) causes your mouth to stop producing saliva.

I wouldnt really consider my experience as an allergic reaction though..

......or your taste buds changed. I know that some of the juices I just swore by at one time are AWFUL now. I don't know how long you've been vaping, but especially the first few months, for me, were pretty strange. Just a thought.

Could be, but I distinctly remember my first e-cig from 2010, it was a BLU that I only used for a few months. It used Johnson Creek Java as one of their flavors and I loved it.

Fast forward to Feb 2012, and I got my new Volt. I ordered the JC Java from their site and tried it with my Volt, it tasted just like I remembered, only more vapor with the Volt.

Then I tried it in the Reo and it was awful...

I may try it again on the volt just to verify.

I'm not allergic to PG...but I am sensitive to it. It causes a burning sensation in my nose and mouth and leave an unpleasant flavor. After a while it gets bad enough that it hurts too much and I can't taste the juice anymore. For me, PG juices are usually only good for about the first 5-10 drags and then I can't vape it anymore. Even the 10% PG juices are hard for me to vape (juices that are made with a VG base, but the flavoring is PG based.) Others who are allergic have reported diziness, itching & burning sensation on their skin and in the mouth and throat, difficulty breathing, headaches, etc. While I'm no expert, my guess is that if you're allergic to it...you will know almost immediately.

yeah, we are not allergic either, my love gets a bloated stommage witch give him pains coz he has a rupture in his diaphragm, and i get increased acidation in my muscles and cramps in my feet, witch my body has a problem with to begin with. so for us PG just wursen conditions that we allready have.

when we switched to VG we had a hard time to get used to it, we liked PG much better, but now that we are used to it, i don't think i want to go back :)

I am also a 100% VG person and use Alien Vision VG juices. I also have an allergic reaction to PG and simply cannot vape it. I wish I could tolerate a little bit of PG in the flavoring so I would have more flavors available to me, but any PG at all causes extreme muscle pain and other allergy symptoms. Back in 2009 and 2010, I used to write to any ejuice vendor than advertised 100% VG to ask for information concerning any amount of PG in the flavoring. Some of them weren't willing to answer that question.

Most of the places that have VG ejuice use "just a little bit" of PG in the flavoring or else use some flavorings that have an extremely strong cheap perfume-like smell.

My perfect ejuice is Alien Vision 100% VG. I vape primarily fruit flavors and recommend all of them.
