Are all those for Vapefest or are those of us who are not going getting a crack at them? I would take the 2 hour drive to Philly but...

Figured I would share a video today. Was messin around at the shop with Steve while running out some bushings for the ALPHA. Warning a lil bit of profanity :)

LOL I made plenty, only taking a couple dozen to Philly. We just gotten the program tweaked in when I started recording that :)

All right Chad, spill. You hinted at it before when you pointed out the lack of set screws but didn't follow through... How does one take it apart?

Quite simple actually. Instead of the set screws holding the actuator and slide together via the barrel, the barrel is threaded into the head. The contact pin is a single piece that travels from the atty connector to the battery. All that is required is a deep well 5/16 socket. Deep well is the only one that is thin walled enough to enter the ALPHA. I did this for two reasons. The biggest one being I do not want people to force it to thread and also so it is easy enough to just use it by hand. After it is hand tightened by hand it can be snugged up with a nut driver or ratchet. The contact barrel is also 303 stainless instead of drill rod, which means it can be washed in soapy water with no worries of oxidation. This is the way this style unit was originally blueprinted(Dec. 2009). However, we did not know what CNC lathe we were going to pick up and what it's capabilities were. I will be doing another "How To" video after I complete the initial orders.
