My buzz woody just came and is, indeed, a beauty. The koa wood shifts in the light, much like tigers eye agate. The marquetry is perfectly laid, and flush-no high or low tiles. After playing with it for a short time I'm alredy hooked on vv. Now I know what a "sweet spot" is. I've alredy blacked out the button surround with a sharpie-big improvement. I understand why the member(cann't remember name) filed larger relief for the wheel on his woody. The veneer impinges on access to the wheel somewhat. I'll hold off on filing the veneer, and grow a couple fingernails. I built a harness for a previous mod to hang from a lanyard, and it fits perfectly on the Buzz. Now I can kick back, listen to tunes, and ponder ".....the low spark of high-heeled boys"
i looked for your veneers on GLV and didnt find any. Then I looked at the Buzz pro and they are out of stock -- sadness. 
I haven't done a GLV in ages. Jay never offered it as an option on his site or really promoted it at all.
The veneered Buzzes and Infinitys go much faster than I can do them. I have two more Infinitys that I'm posting pics of tomorrow and then shipping off to Mike. After that I'll need more tubes before I can do anything else.

Got a couple of beautiful Buzzes (Spalted Elm & BEM) coming my way, a Mist Infinity would sure look sweet with them. Can't wait to see them!

I upload my photos to Photobucket. Then I can just go to my page there and copy the pic, then come here and paste it. That's the easiest way I've found.
I got all misty eyed looking at those pics of you with that 'woodinity pro'! I will get one some day... soonish I hope. Great work and a great face mr Mist

Hey Mist I was just wondering if you guys have talked about Misting up some of the VVPV's when they come out? I figure if I spend that kind of money, I might as well spend more and get one that I really want.
No Chris, we really haven't talked about that yet. I have thought about how it could be done, however. It would be a little more involved and I'd need to use my vacuum press but I'm sure it could be done. The extra flat surface would even allow for simple marquetry. I'll ask Mike what he thinks about the idea.
Thanks Mist. Sounds like it may be more time and money for you and the consumer, but I'm sure you both will figure out if it is worth it, and if you have the time for it with all the Pro's you do. Take care.

Yes, I look much nicer when I'm obscured by mist. That's another good reason to vape.
