Figured I would give it a try...

All for the Kanger coils.

First, tried some Cotton Balls, not bad.

Second, Peaches and Cream from Wally World. More convenient than cotton balls.

ULTIMATE!!!

Butchers twine! The flavors are incredibly crisp, practically zero crackles and pops. For 3mm coil, I removed 6 strands from the twine. Then, just unravel and cit to lenth for the flavor wick. Very clean taste, no cotton burn. Even my wife likes it, and she hated the cotton ball and peaches and cream.

Crackling and popping is a negative to you? I love that. I find the vapor and flavor takes off with the big pops.

I've been using Sugar n' Cream cotton yarn (I'm guessing that's what meant when you said Peaches and Cream) for my Igo-L and my Drunker Tank. I've also used cotton balls, which as you said were not bad and cheesecloth, which was probably better than cotton balls, but more annoying to work with.

I've made a couple micros with the twine recently. They worked quite well. 28awg, 7 wraps, came out to 1.9-2.1 ohm coils. Longer heatup time, but incredible taste!
What size was the diameter of the coil? An 8 wrap with 30g on a 1/16" drill bit puts me at about 1.5ohms. That seems high for 7 wraps of 28g.

Is Sugar n' Cream a brand, like Peaches and Cream?

I haven't seen Sugar n cream here....but we do have Peaches n Cream cotton yarn at our Walmart....that is the most common cotton used for ecigs that can be bought from Walmart.

I havent used cotton yet, still using silica...although I've tempted to try cotton, with all the praise on here.

Yes, Sugar N' Cream is a brand. I actually thought Peaches and Cream was just somebody misremembering the name of it. I got mine from Amazon, I believe. I don't shop at Walmart.

Thanks for clarifying. I haven't used cotton yet, but was told to go with Peaches 'n cream. Ill check out sugar 'n cream on amazon, see if its any different or pretty much the same stuff or what
