Hi, Fellow Vapers.... I'm sure this thread is on here somewhere but when I type it in search, well, you know 1000's come up w/o subject.

So, I would really appreciate "the best drip tips" for 510 & eGo. Also, I'm a newbie and trying to understand the new language of vaping, especially when folks talk using letters (atty, LR, etc.). Is there a single post that lists all the new language and letters I need to learn? Hope so.

Thanks much and "Happy vaping Trails To You"

On the abbreviations - you'll see on this post where 'atty' and 'LR' are lightly underlined and if you hover the cursor over the abbreviation, you'll get the full word.

On drip tips.... There are a variety so much of this will be personal preference - there are metal ones that look really nice on some similar metal'ed mods and they all work rather well. Some don't like the metal feel of them though. So there are 'delrin' and 'plastic' tips as well. There used to be some 'textured' delrin tips that I liked (from Nhaler) but I haven't found them recently. The others have a smooth surface, which tends to dissipate the heat better than the metal, imo. And I find I prefer the long hourglass shape best. Sometimes the short ones on metal atomizer or cartomizer bodies can still conduct the heat.

Also there are 'wide mouth' drip tips that some prefer - a wider opening to drip. I use the long delrin for cartomizers just because I don't like the round tip and the heat some can generate without the drip tip. And I've gotten so I can refill a cartomizer via the drip tip rather than the standard method - you have to still hold it on a diagonal so you don't flood the center hole in the cartomizer.

And I just received both the mega eGo (large atty) and the cone/atomizer versions of drip tips from heaven gifts. I think that they defeat the purpose of the large cartridges that come with the mega eGo and cone/atomizer but for dedicated drippers they will work well. They also have a wide mouth. I used one for a day to see how it worked and it worked just fine, but I'm back on the cartridge now :)

These days, most suppliers sell drip tips. "The best" depends on what you want: steel, aluminum, delrin, long, short, black, clear, colors, etc. Here are just three examples from outside the middle of the pack:

NHaler probably has the largest selection ... with the possible exception of SuperTManufacturing (which was the first, is most expensive*, and, perhaps, highest quality). Good Prophets has the lowest price.

* SuperT also carries an inexpensive imported line of colored anodized aluminum tips, not of its design.

I covered some of the most common vaping jargon at the beginning of my WWV V2 and included a link to a glossary of terms and abbreviations.

As for "Happy Vaping Trails To You," see the "Vapor Trails" feature of Cyberwolf's and my website...
