Ok, very very close to pulling the trigger on a proper mod, probably a ProVari Mini with Twins telescope extension.

But,...before I do drop that kind of cash, really want to hear from you guys, the vets, so,...

"THE" best mod, and why, as in; best looking, best functioning etc, and pictures would help me alot.

As always, thank you in advance. cheers.

There isn't a definitive answer. Everyone has their preferences and what they like may not be a good fit for you. Since you know your needs, requirements and budget better then anyone, I suggest you scroll down this sub-forum further or read the model specific threads for the same question that has been asked and responded to. ;)

I think 'the best' mod is different for different people.

For me (and this is only me) I wanted something on the small side that I didn't have to fill often. I found I really love bottom feeders- you may not. They're just very easy and I like the size and form.

I'm not a mod snob. I have lots of them and like different things about each one that I have. I'd try to narrow down what's important to you (battery life, juice delivery, cost) and go from there.

That's subjective. For me, nothing is ever worth getting on a list for so that chops out some things. Also, I don't care for hybrids, some days I want a genny, some days I don't.

Provari is the way to go if you want a VV tube style apv and are willing to drop the cash.

As for mechanical mods, that's a whole different can of worms. You just have to find one you like that is available. I seem to have found several.

thanks for all the input. I get it that everyone's expectations and opinions are varied, but just looking for opinions and experience in mods you have had or have. I just don't want to buy "one of everything", that's gotten me 510s, egos, twists and spinners so far, or buy three 50 dollar knock offs. I am looking for a good mod that functions extremely well, looks good, and won't need replacing for years. Basically, I am looking for input into devices I may never have considered without asking, and also, looking for user satisfaction with that choice as well. seen a few post replies I had never heard of, or would not have considered, so very cool. thank you all again, cheers.

That's easy....

The Best mod is the one you like Best.

Really... If you want a Hybrid, you're no likely to think the Best mod is Provari...

Love the Provari, you probably don;'t think the Best mod is the GGTS

Lots of personal preference.

There's the Precise ELA mechanical pre-orders being taken now was 6-8 weeks lead time for build at time of first post. The Legacy by Puresmoker another mechanical, either of these two WILL last you years and probably pass them down.Actually both mods cover "I am looking for a good mod that functions extremely well, looks good, and won't need replacing for years" and then some.Downside,if you are looking for VV,or VW,you will not get that unless you buy a kick. You can also wait for the DNA20 adapter that i believe is talked about in the ELA thread(i did not catch if that was just "talk" or actually going to be made) as an add on for it(like the Kicklet from superT,or the Can from Hhaler but will have a DNA20 instead of a kick).

All the stuff about the ELA to me makes it the best mod out there, rhodium plated contacts, adjustable draw, beautiful craftsmanship. Plus there are supposed to be extras coming out for it like Hybrid RBA's and a DNA 20 module, That thing looks awesome. First time I jumped on a pre-order for something and totally worth the wait!
