Soulkeeper13, there are sooooo many things about e-cigs I love, after smoking 47+ years, very little coughing, no weezing, able to take deep breaths, still get a little short of breath but it is getting better, able to stay in a no smoking room, being called a "Air Freshener" by a non smoker with a smile, and being able to vape in her house and in her car. Flying and going thru an airport and going into the bathroom at airport to vape (in private) In short it is wonderful and I also like buying all the different types of e-cigs and juices, my new hobby.

Before vaping, I must've smelt like cigarettes from a mile away to non-smokers

I smell the folks coming in from their break at work and it gags me. I can't believe that's how I smelled to others for 25 years. I think about what strangers must have thought of me...job interviews, various meetings, fellow employees.

Now I just feel bad for people when I see a cigarette in their hands. I want to scream at them and tell them that they can have everything they enjoy about cigarettes WITHOUT all the bad crap that comes with it. But, I hold it in...unless they see my e cig and ask. Then all bets are off.

Not to foul the air in this thread, (heh), but I've got to mention what I've found to be the worst thing about being able to smell again: Discovering that cigarette smoke actually smells really, really bad! And, unfortunately, I still have to live with that stench on a daily basis, as I've been unable to get my 2-pack-a-day smoking wife to make the e-cig switch. :(

I don't want to come off as one of those ex-smokers, so I don't give her too much of a hard time about the smell. And I'm trying really hard to not pester her incessantly about giving up the analogs. But, I really would like to get her to stop dipping her toe in the vaping waters, and just take the plunge/make the switch.

But I digress...
