as far as availability, until we get our hands on the DNA20 board, the most user friendly award would probably go to the Zmax....but the device that does it the best from what i've found.....the darwin. it's amazingly simple....and gives all the information without having to jump through hoops to get to it.

.....we'll see some shades of darwin in the DNA20 though.....i personally can't wait to see what the modders will do with that board in hand

I would suggest the zmax if you like that style of mod.. which i assume you do owning a provari ;) I say that too though because i own a zmax (OLED version) and love this thing.

i'm waiting on my OLED zmax to come in myself....glad to know there are more good things being said about it than the smok version

There really arent that many VW devices out there yet. I know the darwin came out way before any of the other ones available now. I should have bought one then thinking about it now.

The difference between vv and vw is:

With VW, all you do is set the wattage to whatever you want, eg.. 8 watts and then whatever atomisers/cartomiser/tank you put on the device, it can also be different ohms and you will get the same vape without having to change the volt settings.

So it will automatically adjust the voltage without you having to do anything. This is really cool and takes out all the guess work.

I haven't ever heard of a variable "wattage" deivice. You have a Provari which is vv, you can change wattage by changing voltage or your atty.

variable wattage has been around for a good bit now, still new no doubt...but the technology has been around long enough to where we are seeing a selection forming....as is if you have a nice mechanical mod you can kick it and have a variable wattage device....as far as "pure" VW devices....i still feel the only "true" option is the darwin....the interface on it was simply MADE for variable wattage.

Also has anyone tried a silver bullet with a kick in it?

The Kicked SB is my current favorite. I actually like it better than the ProVari. On its own, the SB is a really well-made device. With a Kick, it has a ton of versatility. I use it with the extension sleeve so that I can still use 18650 batteries. It gets me through more than a day of vaping.
