I wonder what Thermal Insulating effect nail polish May or May Not have on a mod's Board?

Not much at all. I have used this technique in a few things like RC cars and airsoft many many times in the past and never seen any overheating issues. You only want to add two layers of it, and when it dries, it is very thin. I know it will hold a little more heat, but it is a very slight difference, and you wouldn't even be able to tell a difference without equipment to measure it.

At the wattages I vape, I'm not too worried about it, although with what the husband has going on, I'll probably get around to researching it next year (if I remember) and it will be two years before it actually occurs.....

At which time I am hoping the status of vaping has more clarity. But I somehow doubt that. Hopefully.

Why not just return it under warranty if you haven't opened it yet? That's what the 6 month warranty is for.

Even if you didn't buy it at MVPro, they should take care of you since they are the authorized service center in the US as @puffon mentioned

FYI, I contacted MyVpro and they said to contact the vendor I purchased it from or VV. I'll try that but I'm not messing with packaging/mailing. No biggy. My other one works great, I just got the X, and will have a Dovpo Topside on the way soon.
