Well LisaLisa, I went back & read Harry's site & I must admit I have no 'absolute' discernment on this as I am of the 'old school' that 'we are saved by Grace through Faith, not of works, it is the 'gift' of God - Ephesians 2:8, while at the same time I believe that those of us who have a personal relationship, through Christ, with a living, loving AND holy God are to strive to be the best Ambassadors for Christ that we can be, walk in truth & love and be ever watchful for His coming. I mean, Christ DIED for me! I WANT to do only those things that please Him and 'be transformed' by the renewing of my Mind and NOT be a slave to SIN and the World, but I admit, I'm FAR from perfect and I slip up ALL of the time and make mistakes. I repent of them instantly and receive by faith 'that if we're quick to confess our Sins he's quick to forgive them and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. - 1 John 1:9. I don't know, the 'end times' are the most confusing times of all for believers, Christ KNEW this would be the case and I believe this is why he gave us 'signs' so that we could 'discern' when His return was near, but leery to give an EXACT time because of it affecting our 'love walk' and our commission of working and winning souls for Christ. It's complicated.. but I 'accept by faith' the 'grace' of God's salvation through Christ, but by the same token I 'live' as though my 'works' matter... even tho' they may not. Does this make sense?.. (lol) I'd rather 'error' on the side of caution YKWIM?
Linda! LisaLisa!!!! Help me out on this! Linda you simplify the complexities of these 'deep issues' so beautifully.. help me on this will you? Enlighten me... you're so good at that. The Lord also admonishes us that 'there is wisdom in the multitude of Counsel' so it's GOOD that we're discussing and seeking counsel on these 'deeper' scriptures from the Lord. Tonight, let ALL three of us PRAY in agreement that the Lord will give us 'deeper discernment' concerning this & He will and we can impart what He's given us tomorrow... Are you all game for that? :)

AMEN Blonde!!!!! I do the same thing. I know that it's only through Grace that I"m saved, but I also don't take the sacrifice of Jesus for granted, and I try my best to follow His perfect example even tho I fall short of it every single day of my life :):):)

Hey That's awesome stuff! My name is encoded 307 times in the bible code! Its probably just a coincidence tho.........has to be I guess cause one of my dogs name is encoded 21 times.........LOL!!!!

It's no 'coincidence' there LisaLisa.. it 'means' something... it's up to you to find out what.. I still haven't got mine completely figured out yet because I'm not so good with the software.. and I have a Friend that sending me some more 'sophisticated' bible code software than the free online one you just used.. but if your Dog's name is in there (especially within the same ELS Matrix) then that REALLY means it's for you! We've got to 'collaborate' on this so we 'decode' what God is communicating 'to' us about us... (lol)

This stuff is fascinating to me, if you have more info please share sister!! LOL!!!!!! :)

LisaLisa, now go back & see WHAT words 'associated' with yours in the ELS matrix.. mine were, Eve Newsom, war, God, Jesus, love, end, run, saved.. but not necessarily in that order, altho it would be fine by me. (lol) I'm still discovering more to form a 'message' that will give me a 'clearer' picture of God's message to me... I wish I understood more about this! Drats!

My associated words were the exact same as yours. god, war, jesus, end, run, love. Not in that order tho. My dogs words were also the same. Are the words the same for everyone?

I was hesitant to go to the site after someone indicated it might be a virus/malware source, but the Book of Daniel and the Book of the Revelation both talk about a 7 year Tribulation period, prior to which all of God's children will be taken out before the Antichrist starts his rule. There is also talk in both books of a mid-tribulation rapture of those who accepted Christ during the first 3 1/2 years of the tribulation period. This theory is much debated and the church is split on the meaning of all the tribulation prophecies.

If you take it literally, then yes, there are two raptures, one right before the tribulation period and one 3 1/2 years after it starts. Hal Lindsay wrote a very good book about this: "The Late Great Planet Earth."

Hal Lindsay's books are here.
HAL LINDSEY BOOKS - Faith for Earth's Final Hour, The Everlasting Hatred: The Roots of Jihad, The Late Great Planet Earth, The Road to Holocaust - ARMAGEDDON BOOKS - Antichrist, 666, Tribulation, Rapture, Millennium

Edit: I don't know why someone would plant equidistant phrases in an English Bible that was originally written in Greek and Hebrew and translated out into all the of the languages of the World at a later time. What are the odds of doing this when the original language couldn't possibly match in code? I'm dubious about taking that seriously at all. There is no relation since some of the words in English were translated using one of 12 to 16 or so Greek words that vaguely match the original meaning. The same thing has been done with other famous works and they all produce phrases that mean something to modern people in terms of world history.

I won't repeat the phrases that were found using the Bible code interpreter, but read this article and you will see how it does make sense that it uses the Bible as a "Find a Word" puzzle. About halfway down the web page, there is an example of what kind of things were found.

Matthew 13:3-9:
3 Then [Jesus] told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed.
4 As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up.
5 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow.
6 But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root.
7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants.
8 Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop – a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.
9 He who has ears, let him hear.” [NIV]

The Disciples asked what the parable meant so Jesus explained.......

Matthew 13:18-23
18 “Listen then to what the parable of the sower means:
19 When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown along the path.
20 The one who received the seed that fell on rocky places is the man who hears the word and at once receives it with joy.
21 But since he has no root, he lasts only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away.
22 The one who received the seed that fell among the thorns is the man who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making it unfruitful.
23 But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.” [NIV]

I love these particular Scriptures, as I was going to start with them, too!

1) Matthew 13:4 - What I call the intellect one. The seeds fall on the ground and the birds come and snatch them up. To me, this Scripture means that they heard the Gospel and it fell on deaf ears. No salvation here.

2) Matthew 13:5 - This verse means that the Gospel made good sense, but as soon as they got back into the world, their emotional experience fell by the way side, meaning this emotional experience didn't last. To me, there are so many people who fall into this category. No salvation here.

3) Matthew 13:7 - This verse means that satan got a good choke hold on these plants by infiltration of the thorns, choking the daylights out of of them sabotaging the fold. No salvation here.

4) Matthew 13:8 - This verse is true salvation......accepting Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. Where true salvation is experienced, the plants start multiplying producing more and more plants to where you have a good solid crop. And the more they produce, the bigger the crop because true salvation begats true salvation. It's like you knowing how to get a million dollars legally. Why wouldn't you tell your friends and loved ones about how they can get a million dollars as well. Why wouldn't you tell your neighbors the Good News before their house gets foreclosed upon throwing them a lifeline, saving them from the poor house. Which door they go into is on their head. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink.

We agree on this verse but I have a different take on it. I have been a blood bought born again Christian for 25 years, and I have never thrown my salvation back into the Face of God. Now I believe in degrees of back sliding as I've been there before, but I have never denounced God or my salvation. A true Christian would not do that, and if you thought you knew someone was saved and they denounced God, they were not saved from the beginning. The trials of life takes a massive toll on some people, which turn them bitter and angry. Even if you take a sabbatical from God, He never takes one from you. I think we can all agree on this. There is no way to get half way saved. Either you are or you aren't. You're either in the good soil or you're not. If you're not, then it wasn't there to begin with. :(

Ok, great post! We agree on all of those points:):) But what about the other scriptures that say your name can be blotted out of the Book of Life and your lampstand can go out, things like that? If you feel more comfortable on just agreeing to disagree, I"m totally ok with that. But, if you want to explore further, I"d be happy to do that too! :):)

I haven't gotten that far as yet. I did the other post at like 5:00 a.m. or so this morning. I just hadn't gotten to that part yet. Should have said that, huh.

Saints, do you remember in that book the hidden dangers of the rainbow, where it mentioned that they would find some ancient writings or something that they would use to try and discredit God and abolish religion????? I'm pretty sure it was in that book, but I've read so many books that I can't remember which one it was, but this is part of the New World Order's plan to squash religion.

Well, look at this!!!!! Babylonian, dead for millennia, now online - Yahoo! News

You can download these ancient babylonian texts and listen to them and they talk about the "Gods" , Ishtar and the aliens and all of that BS! Here comes the start of the GREAT DECEPTION!!!!!

The meso-writings are actually quite important Lisa. The story of Gilgamesh is actually the story of Eden & the flood. Some of the stories are actually contained in the Hebrew Midrash. Interestingly enough, in the story of Gilgamesh, it is the snake that is a god instead of the devil. It has been common place as religions fade away to take their god and make them evil. Did the ancients do this with the story of Gilgamesh...we need to study them to find out more. The story of Gilgamesh is older than any known Hebrew text.

Have you listened to the recordings? Also note the texts of old Babylonian tablets that were chosen to be recorded!!! Do you know who the Anunnaki are, and Ishtar? Untitled Document

Pay attention to the tablets they chose and their texts - here an interesting clipping from Ištar's Descent to the Netherworld:

"......

"Why did she set her heart on me? Why would her mood lighten mine?

Here now, shall I drink water with the Anunnaki-gods,

Shall I eat a loaf of clay for bread, shall I drink dirty water for beer?"

There is also a poem to Ishtar, the "goddess". Total pagan BS.

I believe this is linked to the Georgia Guide stones, and the coming fake alien disclosure/invasion, which have this ancient Babylonian text on them if I remember correctly. It's getting late and I"m too tired to look it up right now, but I think they did have that text on them. Georgia Guidestones - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In 2005, Dice began to demand that the Guidestones be "smashed into a million pieces." He claims that the monument has "a deep Satanic origin," a stance that has earned him plenty of coverage, both in print and on the Web. According to Dice, Christian was a high-ranking member of "a Luciferian secret society" at the forefront of the New World Order. "The elite are planning to develop successful life-extension technology in the next few decades that will nearly stop the aging process," Dice says, "and they fear that with the current population of Earth so high, the masses will be using resources that the elite want for themselves. The Guidestones are the New World Order's Ten Commandments. The Georgia Guidestones

Yes Sis, I know what they are. Listen to my point. As Biblical theologians we need to study all of these texts as they are made available. There will be those who use these for no good. There are people who use the Bible for no good. It is a must that we learn all we can concerning pagan religions. If we don't know about them then we can not refute them. The true text (meso-period) are very important for our learning. I have no doubt, just like anything else, it can and will be used for evil.
