Just a quick question for other owners...
Granted maybe I should have washed the tanks out first but in my excitement I just filled them up and off I went. But as the wife is using it 99% of the time - every now and then I have a toke on it - and I noticed after a day or so of her use I was getting quite a distinct taste of rubber on the inhale and exhale. She claimed to not notice it but then she may have just been dulled through association and gradual degradation from constant use - she can't put it down LOL
This has left me a little concerned about the safety of the nitrile rubber ball valve on the tank... I don't want the wife to be inhaling atomised rubber chemicals obviously that have been liberated by the juices in the tank!
I think I would definitely prefer to see a silicone ball in there instead of nitrile rubber even if it's considered safe.
I've washed the tanks out now and will conduct further testing -

Maybe just a funky carto... I'm not sure if DD will advise but sometimes when I I get a foul taste I either change the carto or I removed the red ring around the positive post.. i don't use this oring at all.. i like lighter draw which is possible without the oring..
