I think once you get one in your hand, you will say it was worth 10 times the struggle. But from Doug's last post, looks like he is getting production back up and will return to weekly distributions. Though I really do wish a waiting list for people on this thread could be created. That way, if there are scalper out there, they won't get as many. Plus it sux to see people get disappointed who have been patiently and excitedly posting here.

I like this concept. Been waiting forever!

After having the BB do you think any of the spares are needed, or is it all fairly robust? Is there enough spares that come with the BB?

Spares? They don't have a lot items in the store, so I assume you mean the care kit or tank? I did grab two delrin tanks and the care kit. No idea how long the O-rings will last, but want plenty of spares (fyi, each tank comes with spares and the BB itself comes with spares). I was probably just being overly zealous, but at $6.50 for the care kit, I figured what the hell.

Aside from what the initial kit comes with, if you're buying a Billet I'd just go ahead and spend the 6.50 on the care kit also.

I've had mine since early July and haven't had to swap anything out yet but why pay shipping twice?

Quick update about the new re-designed board affecting some of the BB's.. I guess it turns out that the culprit *might* be the batteries. I am running AW ICR123 3.7v 750mAh Protected Li-Ion cells in mine (Which was recommended on their website). I guess they changed something within their protection circuit and it fried/disabled/broke something on the board (As DD pointed out earlier).

His hard work has paid off!!! :D I am Loooooooooooving my new BB (I have had it almost over 3 weeks, but have been plagued with the above issue)!! This is literally my first day I have taken it to work and use. It vapes hard, and strong! I really love the laser-slotted cartos. It's feeding very good. No dry hits (Knocks on wood) so far!

I gave you a LIKE on this post because I liked your edit! :D

About the batts then... would you say or YOU, DD of BB, that perhaps we ought not use the ICRs then? I'm usually running mine with AW IMRs because, welp, because I feel a sense of safer chemisty. Better living thru chemistry, too. ;)

I think that if your BB is working correctly (Older board) with your current AW batt's, then you have the older version of the battery. If you ever need to purchase *new* batteries for your DD that is running the older board, I would personally use a different brand (Not the AW ICR's). Which brand will work with the DD is the mystery now..

TY for the Like. ;)

Well, my BB has gone to work with me every day since late March. It's got quite a few scratches. Still works perfectly, except for the burnt carto in there right now. Haven't used any of the spare parts. Been using three pairs of the AW ICRs the whole time.

I didn't have to fight over it, either. The first big pre-order was up for several days...

Doug, a question: will these new power boards be available as a future upgrade option for V1/V2 Billet Box owners?

Just wondering because while I have plenty of "old" Black AW's now, eventually they's gonna run down and will need replacing ... and if the "new" AW's are the cause, that sounds like a recipe for a dead B-Box down the road.

Options to get the board (for us DIY-types) or send the unit in for an upgrade sounds like a good plan for the future.

Man, I got my Diver to quit leaking, thanks to some tips here on this thread and tips from Konstantinos at Atmistique. Just needed some adjustments on the pin and I also tightened the brass screw down a tiny bit more. This thing hits awesome! :vapor: Loved it from the beginning, but now with no more leaks, I love it even more. So much that I ended up grabbing a ZAP for my Provari now. Jeez, going in deep now. :glug:
