Huge propers out to Billet Box Vapor. After months of heavy, daily usage my BB fire button started shorting out.
Got a hold of Mr. Dino, he told me to send it in right away for an "autopsy", and now within a week I'm holding my baby again.
Besides new guts, It's been polished and touched up and looks brand new.
Included was a personal note "apologizing" that there was any trouble!
What?! The note should have said "You're Welcome".
If all the "troubles" in my life went like this I'd be in heaven.
Thank you so, so much.
Now please excuse me while I go vape in bliss with this amazing device. I have missed her.

I set up my diver yesterday...as stated in an earlier post, I used only resistance wire...it works, but maybe 3.1 ohm is just a tad too much ohmage...just a tad...I'll rebuild with 1-2 less wraps, try to get to 2-2.5ohm range...other than that, the advice given here about perpendicular wickage etc seems to be wicking well and not leaking...thanks everyone

I can second that! Got my BB back after a week and can only give kudos for the great service. An electronics problem caused the fail, but Doug and his crew were all over it getting it back to me (including the apology for the chip mfg shortfall) quickly and in that brand new state.

Doug and his crew are definitely top of the heap in customer service!

Anyone have a good recommendation for lubricating the door? I've tried Noalox, olive oil and even chapstick. Would petroleum jelly be worth a try?

I like baby oil..(that doesn't sound good) lol. clean thoroughly with alcohol first.... and a qtip. Try to get all the black off . Door and tracks. Then lightly lube with baby oil... door and tracks.. it'll be like new again.

I just use olive oil on the center ball sometime in the corner of the door twice a week and it work perfect

I use food grade silicone lubricant... seems to work quite well. Noalox is good too (esp. for aluminum) but I find it rather messy.

i think a few (about a thousand) posts back, somebody said to clean the inside door frame and the door sides with a fabric softener sheet. i do it about once a week. it gets the oxidized aluminum outta there, and makes the door go slide again.

I use a Bounce dryer sheet that has been through the dryer. I rub it in every door channel, around the edge of the door, and over the ball bearing. The door slides slick as "whatever word you care to use"!
This method also cleans off all the metal residue.

I've been seeing this a lot lately. The machines that read the envelopes can not process anything but flat paper. It cost an extra 20 cents to send it non machinable. People just aren't aware of this I guess.

Lol, my errand to pick up Prop Wash turned into a nice long smoke break away from the stink and heat and rain of the flightline that day. Good days back then!
