Use a used one. Or find a static free all cotton unscented brand at some hippie food market. It is for cleaning the edges around the aluminum area, not for vaping or ingesting. If it makes you feel better, maybe cheese cloth would work. I don't know... Anybody know what kind of material fabric softening paper is made of, and if it is available in it's natural state?

Hey all... so i have been fiddling around with my BB (got it Monday)...and i am still having feeding problems...i am sure it is my fault...but i am kind of at a loss of what to do...i have tried the prepunched ones from enicstix...i have punched my own...and still no feeding
i have used 1 hole, 2 hole, 3 hole (2hole lower and 1 higher up)
they are all boge's SR (i have some ikenvapes but they are the longer ones so i cant really use them)
ive only used one juice so far...but it is 50/50...and all my juices are 50/50 so i dont really know if i can change that right now
not sure how to go forward...tips woudl be great...if you dont want to clutter the thread you can send me a pm...

I'm guessing you have a bad batch of cartos maybe. Try taking a needle and start "moving around" the filler in the holes that you've punched. It should loosen up the filler a bit and allow for some more liquid to get in. Also make sure your cartos are primed properly. Juice flows in quicker if the filler is already saturated with existing juice.
Are you getting burnt hits from the lack of filling? Can you post a picture of your carto w/holes in the tank?
Aaron, I hate that. I agree though poke around on the filling a little. I think you mentioned you are able to vape from the filled carto in the tank with the BB, so If it is firing and you are able to vape from the filled carto but it is not feeding then it is definitely something with the cartos, I just cannot think of anything eske it could be. I know we talked before about pushing in on the tank a little. Give some dry pulls without firing and see if you see any bubbles in the tank. Also make sure to push around the little black ball to make sure it is sitting firmly creating a seal.
Try one of the other tanks although I don't think that is it. You should be getting the pre punched I sent any day now.

all three cartos i have tried are from three separate boxes bought at different times, so i still feel like it is somethign i am doing
i believe i have primed them very well...more than 30 drops a prime and let them sit for a while, definitely through the holes it is saturated as it starts to come out through the holes after i have primed them
basically all i get right now is a good vape until the carto dries up after the primed juice runs out, then it gets to be that burnt taste as you know you have ran out of juice in a carto.
i will try the needle trick later

Try another fill method possibly, maybe the condom fill. That's what I've been doing, haven't had a single burnt carto yet (except the first, on accident).
How high/low are you punching the holes?

Wondering if they are dual coil? That could burn up the juice faster than it can feed if the holes are not big enough. The ones I sent you should all be single coil. There maybe one or two that are dual coil but those would be the ones without the top. Put the voltage up to about 4.5 and see if that helps. Not sure it would but worth a shot
With thicker liquids and consistent feed problems it's going to come down to hole size.
Too small a hole and it doesn't matter how many holes you have.
If your punch allows it, try to punch a bigger hole and see what happens. Two bigger holes if you can.
If your punch can't do that, try slotting them with a cutting wheel and a rotary tool.
Preferably with a normal Dremel-type cutting wheel, not one of the thin-cut blades.
Try for one slot horizontally across the carto body, somewhere between 3-5 times longer than it is wide.
If the slot feels rough to the touch, try running a fingernail file or round hobby file over the slot to de-burr it so it doesn't damage your o-rings.
If that helps but you still dry out faster than you like, you can make the slot just a touch wider next time with a second pass along one edge.
Repeat until making clouds.
It does take a bit of practice to nail the technique, and it probably wont' be as pretty as punched hole, but you won't care about that once you're vapin'.

Have you tried the same carto in a "conventional" tank on another device? All your listed mods (except bb of course) are mechanicals...do you perhaps have a provari or Vamo hidden in the closet? If so, they will tell you the res of the carto...

To try your BB tank on a provari or on vamo you need an ego adapter or other adapter to lift the tank up a bit , my spare BB tank is always on a vamo ( it's not too sexi but it work well )

This is true,( lollipop) but its good to check the ohm without taking the carto out from the tank

hey all thanks for the great suggestions...i will hopefully have some time today or tomorrow to try them out... i have a Darwin and an old Zmax to try it on...though i have used these carts on normal mechanicals before and had no problems...and i have one of thesame cartos in my Zen Carto Hybrid... sill worth a shot...

BIGGER holes, that's the only answer. I have 2 bb's and 5 tanks...BIG HOLES
I'm glad to hear that parts and filling supplies are coming. Does that include spare tanks, too?
