i was testing some trustfires (green ones) that someone snagged off ebay, they were 3volts not 3.7's and i was really surprised by um'... most 3 volt cells i have tired will top out round 4.8 because of the discharge cap... these were just fine, fired all the way up to 5.6 and held stable with a coil load... I was told they were dirt cheap too... like 6 bucks for two.....

wow, just looked on ebay,, damn,, lots of new cells i haven't' seen... SOME CLAMING 1800mah??? What the heck?
UKAS844 2 x CR123A 1800mAh 3 7V 16340 GTL Torch Rechargeable Li ion Battery 4016138341980 | eBay

and 1200mah......
UKAD840 4 x CR123A 1200mAh 3 6V 16340 UltraFire Flashlight Rechargeable Battery | eBay

i'm having a hard time believing them numbers for some reason.....
looks like i'm going on a shopping spree.....

I've read everywhere that the mah description for most 16340 batteries is exaggerated. It's difficult to find info on comparative performance of the brands. Most of them seem just to be rebadged from the same manufacture. Anyone got some charts?? Link please.

I'm ashamed to say I don't know much about Italy (I'm only %25) but apparently Sicilians have a problem with my ancestors. One night after finishing my meal at a restaurant I gave the waiter my card and when he came back he acted like I had stolen his sister or something, actually raising his voice to the point where the manager had to come over and make him go to the kitchen
He was passionate, that's for sure. And I thought I had a short fuse.

i assure you, we are all very much crazy nutz... sorry....

geez, forgot why i logged on for a sec... k, have a little report..
Silicon balls for the tank are (so far) a bust... We got in a sample from a company who makes um', and for this application these ones just won't work, not one of them will even fit in our tanks ball holder thingy, the dimensional uniformity is a little wild (some are slightly bigger or smaller), not to mention they have a small casting seam that really kinda puts a kink in what we need them to do anyway... We have another batch of samples coming from another place, heck if i know when, and yah, it would be great if it was a drop in replacement, but things don't usually fly that way, we'll see...
on the other hand however, i did fix darthpistachios issue. Today was mill Delrin day and i just did a run with no ball valve...

so you have to fill it like a regular tank, but the upshot is without the ball you'll be darn close to 7ml... i didn't make many of these as i did this just for darth, but.. there'll be some up in the shop round the first of the month..

OK, have to word this just right as not to get heckled too much. But anyway, Doug the "Ball Valve" has been working just fine for me. Have not had any leak issues there, just the little bit when you pull the fill tube out. Wow, am I really going to say this, but no off flavors from your "ball check valve". Whew, got a little close with that one.

Anyway, really doubt 100% silicone would hold up long in the tank. Even the plastic syringe tip would probably nick it and under a little pressure would probably deform. While positive I am loosing my mind, at some point in the 1000s of check valves, relay valves, solenoids valves and numerous other doomaflatchies (tech term...top secret..have to kill you) I've torn apart at work, almost positive to have seen silicone coated SS check balls. That would be cool.

Lastly, not sure if your familiar with this company, but they seem to do a lot of custom work and might could hook you up!
molded rubber parts, sponge rubber, molded silicone, rubber balls, rubber ball, lab stoppers, rubber grommets, die cut rubber, crutch tips, extruded rubber, insulation blankets, fiberglass replacement insulating blanket, urethane casting, roll coveri

Here are a couple more "Ball" makers using different materials just for suggestions/ideas.

Aight! Made it through the entire post not directing anything at Doug's balls....crap...until now!

Its fantastic to see the BB become such a success. I found out about them around january, but at the time just did not have the extra time, or cash to snag one. My hope is that I will be able to get one in the next batch as I have some green coming my way in the next two weeks. No matter how many other mods I see, there just is not one that I want as much ad a BB.

I wont buy one second hand though as I want to support the creator. You just did some great work on this device sir.

Sounds like some 1 0 1 racism right there.. Or maybe he thought it was a stolen CC. Did you tip him?

oh hell no, and I'm normally a very good tipper. He was ranting so bad (and half in italian) I couldn't really understand him but it sounded like a regional rivalry. And I guess my ancestors (with my last name) were from the "other" region.

Pure bliss. Love mine. BTW, be sure you have purchased some protected AW 16340 batteries and plenty of standard resistance / standard length cartos. I just grabbed some more batteries from rtd vapors and used the ecf5 coupon. Also Sure Vapes has great deals on cartos...slotted are awesome.

Let's move this thread on a bit. My BB is in the mail!! I Can't wait!

Fellow BB owners, what am I going to experience when I vape on this beast?

You must of got down on your knees and begged. I give up. Wasted so much time trying to get one. I have 10 boge cartos and 4 AW 16340 batteries for sale on aussie vapour. 45 bucks for all. I purchased the Innokin VTR to hold me over for a year. Hopefully Doug will have his business up and running by then. Good on ya Mate!

I am guessing all he had to do was ask, since Doug posted a page or so back that he would take care of the ECF folks on this thread if they just nicely asked. So PM maybe, call or text him.
