Drunk, keep your ideas flowing. It wasn't that long ago that I dreamed of a charger that would actually display the voltage! Now that's common as muck.

You know, while sleeping, had a dream of a po man's version......haha. Actually think a non punched XL flangeless carto, the right drip tip turned around backwards (some grinding required), a 510 to 510 adapter and some form of cabinet handle might all be put together to make one. Going to put one together next time I am off work for a bit and see (unless someone can beat me to it???). Damn, now wish I had not spend the $16 on that cartodriver! :glare:

B Boxers, and those that want to be...

Just wanted to share some great vape info with some of my favorite threads.

I'm sure everyone is aware that this is the time to be emailing your government officials and encourage them in favor of vaping.

Here's an astute article, a FANTASTIC article, written by an M.D. (Gilbert Ross, M.D., is the executive and medical director of The American Council on Science and Health (ACSH.org) in New York). It's PRO vaping!!! You might just want to add in a link to it in your email.

Good stuffs!!!!

One last thing before I get off my soap box. I've read that people say, oh the battery size, it uses cartos. Well it uses both of those things really well. And I see it as a positive. It turns a humble boge carto into an awesome device. The voltage range is great. It doesn't need anything higher. Button placement is well suited for a left hand vape. I wouldn't trade this device for anything. I think the hype around this device is completely justified.

I'm trying to keep an open mind about cartos but my past experience with them is a huge fail. I finally have a BB on it's way, (although tracking shows it to be going to the wrong state or it's taking a trip around the country) so before I purchase some recommended slotted cartos, I tried a boge that came with a tank I purchased in the classies hoping there have been some miracle advancements in performance. I filled the carto up, took my first draw..."hmmm this isn't bad", took a few more draws, "well I'll be damn, this might work", then after less than 10 draws total, the draw tightens up, vapor diminishes, and coil spits..."well this is familiar lol"
I sure hope I can get a Diver or equivalent working in it cuz I don't see cartos in my future.

Oh, and I hope DD can figure out why my BB is in the wrong state

I feel your pain with the cartos, but in the BB they work well enough, and if you use a light colored, mild type juice, you can get a fair amount of time out them, but will definitely mute flavor if your used to genny's, or drippers.

Be careful about pinning all of hopes on the diver though. I've got one in one of my BB tanks now, and its working, but for me it has been the most frustrating, and inconsistent rebuildable I have ever fooled with, and I'm an avid RBA fan. I don't know if it just doesn't jive with the BB tank or what, as I don't own any other carto tanks. It may just be my kryptonite or something, because others love their divers, but it beat the crap out of me.

Guys,

I have talked to DD, and I have their blessings to move the temporary forum from my house to a faster host. It is up and running now. It's more stable, faster, and is ready for the members here to use!!

I know some are used to ECF and such, but it's very hard to find information regarding the BB. With the new forum, it will be categorized, and much easier to navigate. There will be NO ad's in this forum. I despise them, and will never have any.

Hope everyone has a Great Weekend, and :vapor: strong!!

Hey bud, check out Big Screen D's cool home built project. I just ordered my parts for it yesterday. Already have a diver, which works great, but does seem to leak around the pin....a bit to much. But I have more tips to try on it. But building is way more fun!

FYI, man that is nothing about mail going to another state, hell Amazon shipped my stuff from a neighboring state all the way up to Canada and then back down to Georgia....nice trip...wish it was me instead.

Diver's been good for me in a carto tank but my juice is relatively thin so keeping it from flooding has been the challenge. I have to block the hole a bit with cotton. If it doesn't work out in BB, I'll give cartos a little more chance. If those don't work out, I'll wait for somebody to make a rba specifically for BB.

Maybe it is because I ordered and used the prebuilt coils, but mine worked great out of the box, but the leaking is killing me. Once I got the thing feeding good, rarely a dry hit. I am not going to try and spell his name, but the owner of the shop that makes them, is a super nice and helpful guy. I can send you the emails he sent me with lots of videos and tips if you're interested. Just PM me your email (or anyone else who wants them). Might be tomorrow evening before I can send them, working day shift this weekend and go to bed early.

I have already been down that road, and he is a nice guy. He sent me a new base for free because the plastic piece in mine wasn't sized properly. That helped quite a bit.

Performance is great, flavor is great, but the leaks just come go. Annoys the crap out me. With this last build, I've went through 2 tanks with no leaks (so far).

I have been filling with the tank upside down, and the diver not all the way through. Get as much juice in as I can through the bottom carto hole, then pushing the diver all the way through. Not filling with the ball valve seems to help.

I noticed a little groove or notch in side my plastic piece where the ceramic goes in. He didn't act like that would affect mine, but I have to think it does. Going to try packing cup area with more wick next time and see if that works.

The height of my plastic piece in the base was to short. When you put the cup, and pin in, the cup was up at the top, or the pin was out at the bottom. Could not seat both at the same time. I have 4 pins, and 8 cups, and all were that way. He sent me a new base, and now all the parts will seat. I didn't even ask, was just chatting in his thread, and he asked for my address, and sent it. Pretty cool dude.

It just seems to be a bit off for use in the BB, but it's about the only option at the moment. I wouldn't mind trying it in a regular glass carto tank to see if I would have more consistent results. It seems extremely sensitive to pressure changes within the tank. I'm used to pressing on my tank face to help seat the ball, and that was another no no with the diver installed.

Of course, I'm not ruling out that it could just be me.

I can't wait for scuba to get his produced in mass if he can. To my understanding, it was designed with the BB in mind.

Keep us posted on your results. I'm not messing with mine :p as it hasn't leaked through 2 tank fills. Not touching it until I have to.
