My problems with the slotted (or just Boge in general) was finding so many bad cartos. Never noticed the gurgle thing. Does it do it with a full tank or just half tank and below? Reason I ask is some folks find no issue at full tank and just keep filling at the half mark. Even with the Condor RBA, I notice more gurgling at around the 1/3 mark, so I keep it full. If it gurgles at full, don't know what to tell you.

Seems to be worse when the tank is full but pretty much all the time

It has happened to me pretty regularly with the slots, and I use a 50/50 mix. I don't have too many issues with the regular Boge standard pre punched or the Ikenvape platinum punch (which I LOVE, especially the v2 's, with those bigger holes!). Aside from the occasional duds, I love my carto tanks. Since I put in a regular punched carto in place of the slotted one, I haven't had any leaking, so I am thinking the slotted ones may be feeding too much juice. I thought it may be an o ring issue, but even after installing new ones, the slotted ones seem to gurgle and messy, at least for me. Juice all over my baby!!! Ad much as I wish they worked, for me at least, the slots are a no go in the BB. I wish I could figure out what the issue is, because I know some folks have had no issue. User error is very possible in my case.

(Knocking on head) No. So far, mine have all be perfect.

We certainly are not in agreement over the slots, are we. Like DPLongo22, mine are feeding perfectly.
(You guys ARE knocking them on your head first, right?) ;)

I found the standard pre-punched and the Kat-punched ones did not feed well in the B Box, and the only workable solution was the slots. I use a 65/35 vliquid, so one would think the normal 1 hole and 2 hole cartos would feed well. But alas... they did not.

Ha! Well, that's what makes the world go 'round, right? I may just need to change out my little orange o ring, since it seems to be happening with all but one of my tanks - the delrin one isn't leaky, and it does in fact have a slotted carto in it. Like I said, user error is certainly possible in my case.
The only reason I thought it might be the slotted cartos is because I wasn't having any leaking until recently. However, I just put a brand new orange o ring on the inside of my BB, and that very well may have been what was causing the incessant leaking. Typical dude thought process-blame the equipment first, then find real issue. Lol.

Welp, now it's time for us to see what we can come up with for you, tatsuko.

Finally got the diver V2 in. Its working pretty good with the preassembled coil. Its the flanged version. I bought it thinking I would have to grind off the flange, but it is vaping away like a champ without modification.

Strange, I can't get my flanged v2 to behave in the BB. It works fine in other tanks. I think the flange is somehow keeping it from making a tight seal, because it veeeeerrryyy slooowwwly starts to gurgle and flood. Pity, too, because I prefer the flange in general, it tells the Diver (and any carto-type device) where to stop.

I do have a second flangeless coming in specifically for my BB. The v1 Diver I modded to use works perfectly. I dremeled the flange off, took a few millimiters off the top of the tube, and replaced the lower acetal with 4 o-rings (details on that in the Diver thread) to address any leaking issues.

It vapes like a champ - the v2 is better, of course - and feeds flawlessly, but the hole sits a bit high in the tank, so you can't get to the last 7-8 drops of juice. I'm being pedantic, of course, that's not really an issue in such a large tank.

This BB/Diver v1 setup is causing me to ignore all my other devices.

Ah hi. I think it must be dodgy cartos the only seem to last a few days before gurgling away. I have now changed it, burnt one & the next one seems to be working ok x

So I thought about what I wrote above, and looked at the way the flanged v2 Diver was going into the tank. I then took it all apart, cleaned out the tank, and reinserted the v2. When I screwed down the brass top, I noticed it looked a bit funny, like it was a tiny bit crooked. So I pulled it out, and cleaned both the brass piece and the threaded hole in the BB. Looks like there was a tiny tiny bit of crud in a thread that was causing the brass top to not go in straight, and thus there wasn't a proper airtight seal.

Working perfectly now. I'd still order the flangeless if getting a v2 for the BB to be safe, but it looks like the flanged works perfectly.

Kat, since you just got your BB, did it have the new threaded brass connector with the o-ring?

My atmistique diver order came today, sadly, I wasn't home to sign, so off to the post office I will go in the morning.

I don't know the difference between the old and new brass connector, but mine does have an o-ring on it, so I assume it is the new one. I purchased it in the last batch released about two weeks ago (please don't hate me).

I've had my BB about 2 months, but haven't been showing it much love lately, waiting for the diver to up its game. I need to get one of these new o-ringed versions, as I do have some condensation behind the tank. This should eliminate this.

I wonder if BBV will ever be able to catch up with the demand. Does anyone know how many they make per week ?

I'm not sure how many they produce per week but seeing that they sell out within 15 mins. they will need quite a few more machines running to even come close to matching demand. And of course, it'll be harder for DD to keep an eye on quality if he increases production too much so I don't expect he will expand his operation beyond his control. When you hold one of these, it is immediately obvious that DD holds quality above all else. And that's a good thing, even if it does take some effort to acquire one.
