I just figured out that, I can take the brass piece off, adjust it with a drip tip, the put the brass piece back in. I am using the by leo coils that are about 2.5 ohm. I have not built coils for these yet, I still want to get a zapper though.

Neat, i just tried that and i guess my drip tip is a little undersized as the tank holds the top a little tighter than the tip ring can grab... so i tried a few other tips and found one that fit tight enough to turn it. I never really thought twice about grabbing the bottom threads with some needle nose pliers and adjusting it that way, but looking at it now i guess that does kind of doom it from being used in any conventional thread connected device. at any rate, it's a very fine re-buildable.

In the 2nd pic of above post you'll notice he replaces the top black o-ring of the BB tank with a red silicone o-ring that comes with the Sophia and makes it easier to adjust/turn juice control.

but in all real'ness, this color, which i'm told is some type of red...

we were supposed to do a clear run this week but it didn't work out that way, the slide covers are milled juuuuust a little bit different for a color run than a clear run and we were just shy for the clear slide covers. The difference is that the dwell time for the actual anodizing is longer for a color and that extra time adds some growth to the surface.... so colored lids are machined just a hair thinner.

awwww, that's clever... was wondering why mine came with just one o ring....

I am also using one of Leos DBL o-ring drip tips, which grip it a bit better. I am not sure why, but I have been getting a funky taste today, I think it is because of the coil, I think I want to see what a 3 OHM coil will act like, in the Sophia/BB, I am going to have to try to build one this weekend.

I got my BB a few weeks ago and have been enjoying it quite a bit. I’ve been using cartos in it up until now, but wanted to switch to my Diver v2. The concern I have is that the Diver occasionally leaks from the connection pin. Not a lot, and not all the time, but there have been some leaks.

If it should leak while in the BB, will that cause damage to the BB innards?

(If the question has been already answered in this thread, my apologies. Been going through it slowly but surely, and it’s been a great source of info. It’s a long thread!)

I had a ton of leakage problems with the Diver2 until I got the build figured out- For me, the answer was cotton, make sure the two slots have a thin layer of cotton in them. Leakage should cause no issues, the tank cavity is well sealed. Any liquid should stay confined to the right (tank) side of the BB even if it flows outside of the tank cavity. When you clean it, try to keep liquid away from the top left side where the dial is located. Other then those caveats, leakage should not damage your BB at all. (Don't forget to check the battery compartment for moisture as well.)

I'm a stupid man. I left the house today without my 'kit' and my batteries for my BB have just died. That kit contains my spare batteries as well as an emergency ego and tank. I'm unaware of any B&M shops near work and I'm roughly an hour away from home. Today could get very ugly.

Bummer, skot!!!! :(
Here's to a short day and a shorter drive home. Won't that first hit taste WONDERFUL!

Turquoise. ;-)

Oh stop. ;) Everyone knows it's heliotrope.

From the latest Billet Box FAQ:

Q. With the tank on the inside, are the power components of the Billet Box protected against liquids?
A. Yes, to some degree.
The compartment containing the power regulator is sealed with a gasket material.
However, it is still possible for liquid to get in via the voltage selection dial, in the event of a large spill or leak.

You'd have to have a pretty good leak going to get liquid from the tank compartment to the small gap between the voltage dial and the regulator compartment, but it is possible.

So is there any rhyme or reason to releases? is this the best place to get anouncements? I think I need a BB! Dozens of pipes but this will be my first box mod ever...which is saying something.

Big Juicy (rather lovely nick, and fun to type!), the releases have occurred mainly on Saturdays (tho at random hours). You certainly can check here, but you'd be best to stalk the BilletBoxVapor website.
