Finally bit the bullet...After years of putting it off, picked up a blacked out BB tonight!

Should have talked myself in to it last weekend...and I would have had a Harley BB...but that's ok...I still have a BB...now comes ordering everything else for it. Can't find any ARO heads for my sabot over 1.5ohms....guess I can always rebuild??

Sadly I slept through todays BB's before I could nab the one I wanted. Got my eyes on a Vanilla BB(the $179 model), had I known they'd be up this weekend maybe I would have woke up sooner.

No they won't. You only want to use the AW Protected (black) 16340 batteries. Those are the ONLY reccommended batteries for the BB. You need at least 2 sets, but 3 or 4 sets are better.

Ordered 1- 5 pack of 3 ohm and 2 ohm ARO heads for my sabot, and 6 AW IC 123 batteries. Just hope they make it before the BB does.

Batteries arrived today and are on the charger in preparation. lol

Hey guys I am a new BB owner and I have a few questions.
I ordered a billet bridge and some 1.8 ohm coils. I didn't know at the time they made 2.1 ohm coils. Other than battery life is it safe to run the 1.8's with the black aw batteries?
Next question is with the black protected aw batteries you just puff till it stops then change batteries?

It is safe to use the 1.8ohm coils, just be sure to start with lower voltage and slowly work your way up until you get the vape you like. In the future try to get the 2.1ohm as the BB was designed to work optimally with 3ohm cartos.

And yes just vape until it stops then replace with fresh batteries.

Just trying to cover my bases. I have never used the protected batteries before. From what I understand they have a 1.5 amp limit. Using the 1.8 coils I'm sure I will exceed the 1.5 amps. Is that going to cause me any problems? I don't want to break or explode anything.

Shouldn't be any problem. I have used them without problems.

I use the 1.6 coils at 4.75 volts with no issues

I watched Todd's review again and tried to take mine up all the way just for fun. The lid wouldn't close with it set at that. I took it as a sign and backed off.
