I searched and couldn't find an answer to this problem. I have a Bolt that I picked up from Hoosierecig. I love this thing. It was originally intended to be my back up device but I've barely touched my vv tube since the bolt came. Anyway, I've been having a problem: The center post (the connector) keeps on popping out! It still works, but i'm woried one of these days the cord is going to break as well. What is the best way to fix this? I thought about just using some super glue but didn't know if that could mess up the connection. Has anybody successfully fixed this problem? Thanks!

OH man...this I don't need to hear! Ack! I hope someone has some suggestions! I had to send my Bolt back due to a funky switch last week. It worked (and the post showed no signs of coming out, thank goodness) but it would pretty much stop working once the battery got down to 3.7. There was nothing wrong with the battery because it'd work fine in my LavaFire and Telescope. I contacted Brent and he is replacing my Bolt, so I'm happy about that. But now I'm wondering about that switch...and how someone without the McGyyver gene can fix it if it develops a problem. Good luck! I'll be watching! I really like my Bolt...a whole lot. And I've really been missing it this week. I hope it gets home again tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath...probably will be Wednesday.

How long have you had it and is there any warranty? I would contact hoosier and see what options they give you. Search here too, I thought I saw a thread where someone talked about popping the internals out of the head and replacing the wires.

You can also buy replacement top for the bolt, don't know who else carries them but madvapes has them. I was thinking about getting one as a backup and it also looks nice.

This is really interesting... I like that it has a eGo connection

I saw that replacement switch top too...and hope I can get one after the first of the year for back up! I don't really need the eGo connection that much since I mostly use the cartotanks...but I like having the option! Any if the EMSCCs get good again (they seem to have had a sort of "Bogegate" going on the past month or so) then I'll be using them again, and that connection will be perfect.

Just go to the Contact Us link at the top of the website...far right, I think. There's a place there you can send a message to him. He'll respond but it might take a few hours. Actually, he won't respond at all right now as I believe he's closed until after Christmas! But when he gets back...he will answer. Be sure to include the original order number in the message. I just got my replacement Bolt from him today. I sent it in exactly one week ago and the replacement is here already...and working like a champ!

That link doesn't seem to be working, just goes to home page.

I haven't checked it...maybe it's disabled until the 26th or something. He didn't want the message box filling up and getting overloaded or something? Or maybe there's just something gone stupidy with the website. I've communicated with him numerous times with the messenger and also on the 'phone. He's very nice and helpful. Just hang on until Wednesday and things will probably be back to normal.

Can you post a picture of the top cap looking at it from the inside? I've seen this issue with other mods and it is usually a relatively easy fix.
I'd be willing to bet that the issue is the rubber insulator that holds the pin in place from the back side has slipped off the pin (post). This happened to me with a Roughstack when I pulled the center pin because I was having contact issues.

If you can access it and if it is indeed the issue, screw an atty or carto in to hold in place, and use a small tweezers to slip the rubber back over the pin inside the top cap. If the insulator is torn, this requires replacing by repurposing one from a carto or atty. This is a little more involved and requires desoldering/resoldering. If that is the case ,we can address that after you have looked at it.

When it first happened it came out it came all the way out and it was just hanging by a wire. Now it comes out to this point and it feels like something is holding it in so I don't want to force it.

That appears to be the whole 510 atomizer connection and not just the center post. Is this correct? If so, you could secure it with jb weld, a two part epoxy available at Walmart and autoparts stores.

Yes, I was unaware there is a difference between a center post and the connection itself.
