Are you planning on using LR attys on the Buzz?

Not sure who this was meant for, but hey, I'm here.

Personally, I plan to find the 'sweet spot' for my different attys and cartos. Meaning I guess, I'll do a sample measurement of resistance, start noting the watts that make for my personal sweet spot.

Then I'll hope their not too far apart and I can make a small mark on the Buzz so I know where to go for what.

Or something...

I may just leave it 4.5 - 5.00 somewhere. M real desire is to have consiteancy (why I was getting the Saber before my darling shut me down with this surprise). A Nice consitent level that will stick around for several hours, and be near 5V vaping....oh but to dream....

No i don't. Im afraid they will not last long at 5 volts. My plan is to use the Buzz on regular 510 atties and make them perform as the LR ones. Of course i could buy plenty of LR atties instead of the Buzz, but i'll use the LR atties on my other mods at 3,7 volts.

I stock atties like there's no tomorrow... i have more than 100. And still buy them.

Yeah I still have tons of attys too. That's one of the reasons I have tried cartomizers yet. I figure I have to use up all my attys before I buy anything else. I read Janty is coming out with some new mega attys and cartos for the eGo and they sound great but it sounds like they'll only work on the eGo. I'm curious to see if people get them to work on mods without them looking ridiculous using a bunch of adapters.

Buzzkill can't post here is my understanding. He can only post in the suppliers section so you need to move your questions to him to the other thread in the suppliers section.

You're going to need a voltmeter. It is .2volts per turn but if you forget what voltage you're vaping at you have no way of knowing what the voltage is without a voltmeter. As far as use it's like any other PV so use it as you would any other.

Thanks for info.

So 12T x .2 = 2.4V max, makes perfect sense.

Ok, I'll simply note number of turns .

btw - Is there a 'stop' on this pot, or does it just keep going?

Max

I don't think there is a stop but Buzz would know for sure. I've turned the voltage as high as it can go (7.4 volts) and the screw keeps turning.

I don't believe you can get 7.4 volts out of the buzz because the regulator only puts out 6 volts but I agree there is no end stop on the potentiometer.

I can't remember what Buzz said about that. My multimeter said 7.4 volts but I didn't try to vape it 7.4 because I didn't want to blow my atty. :)

I hope Mike steps in and clarifies this because you should never read more than 6 volts if the regulator is working correctly.
