Well vape Rev called today and I was able to purchase the brass version! So there WAS a list. I'm thinking that they were telling folks there wasn't one after all the spots were filled.... Honestly I thought that getting one was a pipe dream after all the talks about no list there.

Wow very nice! Odd stuff with the list there though. Sounds like you were successful, others were told no list, and I have seen a couple of people claim they were on a list then told later there was no list. So sounds like you got lucky there!

yeah I didn't think it was gonna happen. I was grocery shopping at walmart when they called me. I had to scurry to a corner where I hope no one was listening to give my credit card numbers over the phone to em. haha I bet I looked sketchy as h*ll

According to my notes (yes I take notes, people talked to, and date of conversations for these type of purchases) I talked to Howard on 2/1/13. At that point in time there were still a few spots open, according to Howard

Of course, when I emailed VapeRev they told me "We do not keep lists, first come first serve and we do not know when we will have them back in stock".

Had a chance to check one out Saturday. Liked it. ALOT. Plan on getting one but no way I will pay scalper prices... I mean a little profit I can see but not these crazy prices.

I may be in for a long wait

It really sucks that those of us in the US basically have like a 0.001% shot at ever getting a Chi You. I really wish he would let us get on the Vapor Wall list and not ONLY buy it from Vape Rev. Yeah right, like that's going to happen for hardly any of us. I don't even want to bother to be honest. The worst part is that if my account could have been activated sooner (it was 2012 still when I signed up) I could have possibly scored when when US customers were allowed on the list. Oh well there's still the Paps X (if I can even get THAT one).

Come on China, you guys really need to get in the game here and realize what kind of mods we REALLY want!!! A plain and simple, straight forward beautiful tube mod. No weird shapes. No weird designs, engravings or graphics. Brass contacts. Minimal voltage drop, etc. Really I can't believe they still haven't caught on yet! As I've said many times before, whoever comes out with the first Caravela/Chi You type clone that meets this very simple criteria of being a plain, sexy tube mod is going to make an absolutely ridiculous amount of money!

Very nice! So funny thing, sent some emails to the vendor. Claimed there was no list, I said O I thought someone said they got on a list.... Got a reply back saying O yeah well there was a list but now there is not, and they have no idea when the Brass ones would be in....

Whaddeva, I gots my eye on another mod. But yeah these all sure look nice

If he doesn't want to give US customers a reasonable possibility of EVER owning one well that's his deal. I'm not going to say screw you or anything but I'm certainly not going to camp out having a refresh war just for the possibility of spending over $250 on a PV.

It sucks that we in the US have to deal with this cr*p. Vape Rev just should have been honest and told people yes there was a list and sorry but its full. Full disclosure. 100% honesty. Can't fault someone thats honest. But like PhreakySTS9 said "f5" wars are just stupid. in this day and age there are better ways to run a sale. Even the lottery of the Juggy at 310 was a better way to sell than f5..f5..f5... what do you have in mind now?

YES! I agree with the lotto sale, I really think more people should implement this. It's much more fair and gives everybody a fair, even chance at owning it. Maybe we could suggest this to Vape Rev? If enough people request this, maybe they will be inclined to listen? Maybe....?
