We’re Rick & Christina owners of Vapordogs.com. Like many of you, Chris & I are committed vapors. We received our Joye 510 starter kits July 3rd 2009 and have been analog free since. I used to live in the gulf coast area. It's unbelievable that BP sat on this for almost three weeks, before ANY action!

How about raising some buck for the folks in LA, FL, etc..

Not sure if you guys are familiar with the Naples area but between Naples Bay and Key West is an area called the Ten Thousand Islands.

It’s very hard to describe the beauty of this region and the wild life found here, dolphins, manatees, bald eagles and so much more, it’s truly amazing. We can only imagine the sadness and agony of the folks up in La, Ms and the Fl pan handle watching this oil creep into their pristine area.

So with ECF’s Management approval, we’re going to set up a fund that ECF suppliers, members & guest’s can donate to. We’ll research and post some potential charities that work primarily protecting marine mammals and wild life and open it up to you guys and let you decide which one is most deserving. Maybe a cut off date of the day the well is capped would wrap up this fund raising effort and 100% of the donated funds would be transferred in the name of ECF and affiliate organizations to the charity or organization.

That 901C looks neat (especially in red). The battery's manual button appears to be much better than most 901, 801, or Kr8 manuals; more like the 510's (which is excellent).

We’re pleasantly torn; we started with 510s with180m batts exclusively for about 8 months, loved em but needed to carry 3 chargers plugged into an inverter in our truck at all times to keep up with our power demands. We now stock & use the 510 & 901C 280m mega manual batts...they're great!!

Wildlife Emergency, Please Donate Now!

Last week we posted an introductory thread that mentioned our hart felt feelings to all of those impacted by the BP oil spill. A fellow member suggested that we try and raise a few bucks for the cause, we agreed, so we are!!! We’ve set up a category called Gulf Wildlife Support Fund Donations at vapordogs.com.

We will post on this thread worthy and reputable wildlife organizations doing work in the gulf NOW. We will not post organizations trying to push political agendas rather then helping rescue wildlife or cleaning up the beaches. It’s your call, donating ECF members, guests and suppliers will make the choice of the recipient organization.

Please, if we put up an organization that anyone knows of that may not be worthy please let us know. Conversely, if you know of a good one please let us know.

Donating is really simple, just click on the turtle in our featured products section, click the number of $10.00 increments you wish to donate and proceed to checkout. We ask that you guys make your organization recommendation in the notes box at checkout. All donated funds will be deposited into a separate account and 100% of the net proceeds will be donated to the most recommended organization. This fund raiser will end the day after the BP well has been capped and oil is know longer spilling into the Gulf.
