I can get very engrossed in hobbies but I'm trying not to get too caught up in spending much on vaping... I'd like to find a decent setup and stick with it, and find a few eliquid flavors I enjoy and stick with them. I have been content vaping the same flavor for the last week so I don't think I'll be someone who is constantly trying new juices, just gotta find a more affordable one (my kind juice is $1/ml). I'm getting an aerotank to go on my ego-c twist and that should keep me happy a while... although I'd like to eventually wind up with a nautilus on a provari or maybe something vv/vw. But I hope to find something good and stick with that, and a good, not-too-pricey juice and maybe start making my own wicks etc to cut costs. I was smoking a pack-and-a-half a day of 4-5$ cigs (westports, I think they're a florida thing but I preferred them over 7-8$ cigs). I would love to dabble and tamper as I am loving learning about e-cigs but one reason I quit was to save money. We are honestly probably just a step above legally-defined poverty and the money I do have goes towards my son and my aquarium hobby.

Depends on the person to begin with I spent the same amount on vaping maybe a little more to get started. After I got my tanks and batteries I started to make my own juices. Now it is a fraction of what I would have spent.

This ^^^ FInd what is satisfying to you and get a backup or 2. Many people buy gear like they're collectors. That's great but you only need so much. Learn how to make liquid and build coils and wicks. The consumables are the part that costs you money in the long run

Not if you DIY. At that point the consumables are the really cheap part.

Like others are saying, you spend most of your dollars on setup and juice mining. I never really found a tank (minus carto) that I really liked or loved. If you can rebuild your coils you will save big in the long run. That is where Kayfuns are great (I have EHPro kayfun lite plus v2) clone and with some kanthal and organic cotton you will be able to build coils on the cheap and the way you like them for a long time with very little money.

all in all I think I've spent probably 75% of what I saved on e cigs and juice. I feel that it's more in control now and just grab the odd device and RBA here and there, but not nearly as often as most here. I wanted to save money as well as quit smoking while vaping.

I feel it has been a Win/Win/Win so far lol. I think most of my money has gone towards e-juice.

Close to 3 months into vaping and a bit over $400 spent which i would have smoked anyway in 2 months but i found my prefered setup, got juices, batteries and stuff for rebuilding for next 5 or so months so i guess i'm golden and some savings should appear...eventually

The most money i spent on liquids to get the ones to my likings.
