the Crown 2.0, making an odd noise and vibrates?

I have 2 of these that I just recieved on Friday last week. They seem to work fine, easy to set up etc. After a while both of them start making a low, but high pitched whirring sound, like a toy. Its not a beep its almost like an insect buzzing around. Its not constant and it stops if I press my button on the mod on the outside.

If I take and switch out the battery it stops for a while, but comes back. Ive searched the internet and found only one article that mentions something similar but it was about the Sieglei kick clone.

The paragraph toward the lower mid section mentions the sound, but doesnt say if its a bad thing. WHen it happens sometimes I can feel a slight vibration also. I emailed Artisan and the person is on vacation till Aug 9th.

Has anyone else had this happen? Is this something to be concerned about? Im using it on my ELA, with an Odysseus atomizer. I have switched atomizers to see if its related to a possible short, but it doesnt seem to be the atomizer.

I guess i really have some luck, 2 new Crowns and they're the only buzzing ones?

Well, i have to say , one bit the dust Vapor production started tapering off and I put a new battery and still hardly any vapour and then nada, nothing.

Update. I took one of my Crowns and put it on another mod and its fine. NO Buzz, very odd, I guess my ELA does not like being Crowned or Kicked. I made up lower resistance builds went from 1.7 to 1.5 and Im getting the same experience as when I used the regulating device. Oh well, think I will just enjoy the pure mech experience.

Maybe the buzzing was due to my resistance being too low. Guess its the classifieds for the one good one
